Wow. With this new game, I have 5 active projects; Zelda:Bloodlines, Relics of Nature's Fury, Super Mario Adventure, Mega Man Battle Royale, and this. Well, before I even mentioned the idea here, Demo 1 is out. It features one level of Goomba clicking action that loops endlessly, a title screen, and a game select screen (which also leads to a completely uneventful World Map Test). All credits are in the info. The cursors are 100% original!
[EDIT 6/23/08 3:27PM PDT] Demo 1a fixes a few things that FISSURE pointed out. Also, you can press F12 to exit the World map test room. And goombas now feature 8-directional sprites.

What did you think of my cursors? or at least the general idea. Did you read the info (by pressing F1)?

And how would i know to press F1 to read the info? Nothing on it says it,

it takes like 10 seconds of that dark screen to get to the selection screen thing,

it goes right to the game without letting you select.

That light blue place doesn't look like any place in the mushroom kingdom that i have played.

Clicking goomba's is boring.

Though you have a demo, you need 4 screenshots.

I'll give you four days to post four legitimate screenshots or I am going to move this to WIP.

Well, here's what you would've seen:

this project originally started out as a way for me to replicate the idea of shooting the enemies in super mario galaxy. i found it worked as a stress reliever to shoot a goomba 5 or 6 times. it doesn't kill them, but it relieves stress to shoot them repeatedly. little buggers! but it has turned into this. i may change this into a collection of goomba-themed minigames, all starring goombas, somewhat along the lines of one of my other games, the legend of zelda: portal to gamezville. however, enjoy this version of the game. -metakirby 6-21-08

And I need to fix the Title Screen. And what do you mean, without choosing? You should be able to see the menu! And I'm not done yet. This is only demo1! And the BG is from Super Mario World. Music from SMB3.

You should put it somewhere that F1 opens that.

i kept clicking and most likely clicked one without noticing.

I'll have to see what you can do with this game when it's done to see if i like it.

That's what I figured. And I'm uploading screenies right now. I'll also change the title text to white. I thought it was dark, and you said as much, so I'll fix that too.
