Well, only the first OVA is out. I think the second volume should come out this or next month...

the only manga's i've read are the .heck//legend of the twilight ones, i've read the novels too and i cant wait for the another birth ones to be translated :D

A friend of mine, she keeps lending me manga to read, so my list is quite short and some of its kind of weird.
I've read some: Battle Royale, Banana Fish, Gravitation, Under The Glass Moon, Akira, and some other random stuff :P

I don't like the manga for Battle Royale.
Not that I've ever read it. But I've looked at it in the store, and they seem to be crying in every frame, and it just gets annoying quickly. I can't stand it.

I sawt he movie, however. The movie was freaking awesome. so if they *Weren't* crying in almost every frame of the manga, I probably would read it.

I personaly like the style, I do know how you mean though :P its not just tears either, its blood, snot or whatever can leak from the face.

Even brains. It all comes out.
But yeah, the style is sometimes overdramatic with waterfalls of tears, huge eyes, bishounen hair, guts and blood flying across the pages... It's not for the average reader, but it has a fantastic psychological character study.

I allways thought it makes sence for the emotions to be so vivid like that, I mean there just kids in a bad situation :P

I know what you mean, I saw the movie a while ago,and it was very...uber. I'm more interested in reading the novel than the manga though.
