What games do you think are deserving of remakes?

I vote Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon. That game was fantastic. The music, the graphics, the gameplay, a game that great deserves to be introduced to this generation of gamers.

Illusion of Gaia would be epic remade in 3D.  It would make the game more expansive as well as give me a reason to play it again.

inb4 Chrono Trigger DS/FFVII

Honestly, FFVIII and FFIX, as great as they already are, I wouldn't mind seeing remakes of them.

Pokemon Gold and Silver should be remade in a way that it would feel almost like an MMOG.

Also, Chrono Trigger should be remade, not ported, like FFIV. It would be funny to see a 3D remake of Super Mario Bros.

FFIX should get ported to one of the newer systems and it should get itself a sort of sequel...

Digimon World should get remade and should have the difficulty a little fixed... Sonic R should totally get a remake- New characters and at least 40 new tracks (since it only has 5... :/).

The Legend of Zelda should get a 3D remake, just to see how it would look like from behind Link's shoulder (or his eyes!). That remake, however, should stay completely like the original: less text, more exploration.

Super Robot Pinball should get remade where the enemies have more than just one attack... Actually, this would work on the DS since you could have the playing field in the bottom screen and a cartoon-like thing on the top screen, so each time either your robot or the enemy attacks, you see a real nice animation on the top screen. ...That might just use up the DS cart's entire space though! Oh, two games that really deserve a remake is Dragon Warrior Monsters 1 and 2.

I know there were remakes on PSX, but they are Japan only >_<

Oh that game was just simply superb, I would love to see this game with a new kickass approach :P Goemon meets Legend Of Zelda type of thing. Oh wait, it already has similar elements to that, but tons of sidequests, remade and entirely new areas/dungeons would be nice.

Also Super Mario RPG: Legend of the seven stars would be great for a 3D remake, I only got so far in the game but for some reason I think it'd be awesome in a stunning 3D cel-shaded environment.

Final Fantasy IX, no doubt.  That one's overshadowed >_>

Super Mario RPG, I would love Link to the Past in 3D IF they did it right.

I've always wanted to see Pokemon in a real 3D adventure that plays like the original Red/Blue, that plays like OOT, ya know what I mean? In terms of how you move and play, same story, same everything just with 3D elements... but they should then throw in an official way to catch Mew/Poke'gods just to enhance things and make things nostalgic.

Oh and I fully support and believe that FFVII/FFVIII could benefit from remakes, both fantastic games, both old enough to warrant attention to a new generation of gamers.

Because Final Fantasy VII doesn't get enough exposure to this generation of gamers.

Yes, yes it would... (now thinking of playing as Freedan in 3d, I play that game a lot, one of the best games ever.)

If not 3D, I would love at LEAST a port of the three games (Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, Terranigma) or the supposed "fourth" one (the Gainstream Saga?? I think). Those games were amazing.

The side stories do, but how many do you think have actually played through the full original game? I wouldn't think that those number would be too high given the obsession with graphics nowadays and how PS3's backwards support has been fully cut from recent models.

Still doesn't need a remake. It's ugly, but fine the way it is and most newer gamers get to play it anyway.

I'm suprised none of the mother fans have said an Earthbound remake.

Snowboard kids 2 on the N64 was awesome. I want a remake of that.
