If there is a third one i think the Riddler will be in it.
riddler and two face. they can introduce robin too!
Why would Two-Face return? He dies at the end.
'Case you didn't realize, that was a joke pertaining to this:

(As seen above, Two-Face, Riddler and Robin were all introduced in this movie.)

Anyways, in all honesty, I think they killed off too many of the cool villians in this movie.

Joker - Heath Ledger is now dead, he can't come back.
Two Face - Does anyone really want to see him again? I think they've covered everything they can with this film, even if he is still alive.

Seriously, did Batman have anything else? (Riddler, Freeze and forestchickwhosnameescapses me all sucked major ass.)

Zelda Projects / Re: [WIP] My Legend of Zelda fan game
« on: July 19, 2008, 03:59:18 pm »
Looks pretty amazing... but my only problem is how you implemented the camera. I understand that the camera should rotate Link if he is moving forward, but Link should not rotate with the camera while he is standing still. Otherwise, everything else is grade A quality my friend.

May I ask what it is done in?

Just going to go ahead and say it... why does the item part say he has a pistol out, but he is holding a pipe in the first scan, bottom right?

Second thing... the only game I like for the Wii from e3... is a port of a game I own... a pretty shitty looking port at that?

Right, I've been thinking about this most of the night and have come to no conclusion on actually how to do it. In this screenshot:

As you can see, when Leon is aiming, a transparent red line goes from the end of his gun, to the target for aiming. So, does anyone have any ideas, or for that matter, examples on how you could?

Entertainment / Re: Nintendo Press Conference Summary
« on: July 15, 2008, 05:20:08 pm »
Hmm... well, I thought the whole thing sucked except for Wii-music. (I smiled through the Mario theme.) =/ You listen to them preach on about how they are for casual and hardcore gamers, when they did not mention one game that interests me. In all honesty, they should have ended the conference with something... for us.

Alan Wake - I've been waiting 4 years... -_-' For information on this game, let alone for it to come out.

Feedback / Re: NCFC? z3?

Ah, not the way to look at things honestly. =/ Development may suck at the moment, but it is the start of summer and we all have some free time finally. Maybe z3 would somehow promote work. (Especially if there is a huge cash prize involved for best project. (2 bucks per participant would be enough. ;) ))

LOL!

Well thats some stupidity out of the Gene Pool; now for the rest.

Seriously; LOL!
Such a blunt way to put it... but LOL, I have to agree. Anyone who commits suicide over a video game, obviously isn't right in the mind anyways. Even if this didn't happen, he would probably be dead the next time someone turns him down on a date or he gets a bad grade in school.

I have no sympathy for those who end their own lives.

For this much work and stuff... that's not much of a prize.
Well, besides not having much money, I really do not know what you ZFGCers want.
Since it this has Old School in it and New School, what about Wii Points?
You guys could use the Wii Points to either buy the classics or get the Wii Ware.
Not everyone here owns a Wii... but, I suppose the majority of people on zfgc do. In all honesty, I think $10, a pat on the back and some rupees is worth it.

31
Alright, no 3d-2d conversions, right? What about 2d-3d?
Depends, what game were you thinking about? and if so, it would be a New School category entry.
If I wanted to redo a dungeon from say, Link's Awakening in 3d, would that not be allowed?

Hmm... I already got that far but thank you for helping. I was more looking for how to check if a mouse button is up or down. : ) Hope you can help in the morning.

« on: June 20, 2008, 12:42:07 am »
Yeah, anyone know where I can find some... a google search brings up nothing I can use. I am mainly looking how to use the mouse buttons, then the position on the screen btw.

I realize you don't like the idea of it coming to the 360, but people like Mamoru and I can dream right? No point arguing about something that may or may not happen. : D In all honesty though, I am perfectly willing to spend $500 for a Ps3 just for MGS4 (The only game that interests me honestly, 'cept maybe the BioShock port if it comes with anything new), and I have yet to play any of the prior games. It just looks that fantastic.

Entertainment / Re: Darkfall: The Next Great MMO?
« on: June 13, 2008, 12:28:25 pm »
Sounds like it could be pretty amazing... but uh, I don't think many others or I have the specs to play something like that, both on the computer side and internet. It definetly doesn't sound like it is a streamlined multiplayer game as everything in the world can be affected or changed... oh well, looks cool anyways.

38
Overall, very amazing though. I'd definitely buy this if it officially came out - Hell, I'd buy it if you tried to sell it as a fangame.
I guess in that sense it's kind of a shame it's made in Game Maker, because Nintendo wouldn't be able to emulate it on WiiWare or something. Of course, I'm not complaining, because if we can play it on PCs, that's good too.

Hell, I'd buy it if you tried to sell it as a fangame.

Well he don't legally can ::) .

The Maren is a really good idea. The battle is not too long for an ennemi that you have to fight again and again. Pretty cool attacks, and incredible animations, like always!

lol To the both of you, I know he can't sell it... but, the quality is amazing enough that I would actually buy it if it was ever sold.

Actually, in theory, he could always make it so you had to buy a membership for a site (Or something.) and then have the game come as a perk with it... that would probably be legal if you never explicitly say you are paying for the game.

Of course, no one wants to be, "That guy." The person who just has to ruin the fun of playing a free game by making it pay for play.

39
Two very minor problems with the game:

 1) The black flash at the end of the fight - Not that it is a huge deal, but the effects in the 3d Zelda games would look much cooler. The last strike with the sword is held in place for about a second, I think there is even a bit of slowmo before the slash hits it but that might be imagining things, then the screen flashes white and continues on with the cut scene. Again, very minor, but much more... epic in my opinion.

 2) The chains on the bottom of the level. Maybe it was done on purpose, but I got the feeling that the platform was hanging and wasn't attached to the ground at all... from the looks of it, the chains are going down, towards the ground. Was it done on purpose?

Overall, very amazing though. I'd definitely buy this if it officially came out - Hell, I'd buy it if you tried to sell it as a fangame.

Just give yourself some goals on what you want to learn each week then stick to them. Just because you are using one programming language doesn't mean you have to ditch another. For instance, this week, I am supposed to finish movement in my c# game, start working on my java application and do a few tests in game maker. I am personally best with c#, then game maker and I completely suck with Java, yet I make all my things with a different language regardless of skill. The point is to finish your goals for one language before starting to work with the other ones.
