Hey guys! This will be where I make updates and stuff about my art.

Alright, I'm not actually 100% sure this is the best place to post my art but it's the only way I see fit for now, unless we make some sort of art board that has nothing to do with graphical resources.

Anyway, I really like to draw. I draw on my spare time because I love to do it. I sometimes draw concept art for the community project here too. I take part in an art blog with friends (who are waaaaaaaaay better than me) and equally like to draw some chibis and stuff on the side.

I haven't updated here in a while! I've been pretty busy the past couple of weeks with artwork and well, hehe, work XD.

Here's a dump of stuff I managed to complete over the past couple of weeks. I put everything in spoiler tags to not completely jam the topic with scrolling and stuff.

Heliotrope, theme: Hero. This is really crap. I didn't know what to do with it XD

I started a Koi Nami chibi tonight. I'm trying to pump out a lot of these to maybe print eventually ^__^. Still unsure as to whether or not I should sell them :\, so maybe I'll give them out or something. I equally have to get started on the next Heliotrope theme which is "cheesy Valentine's day cards". Hehehe.

In the first picture, I LOVE the bottom left and top right sketches. As for the valentines day cards, the first one is definitely my favorite. Its cute, witty, and ...well done.

I can tell that you've been busy altering your style a bit too. XD You're great at doing chibi's, Ash.

Latest addition to the League of Legends chibi gang, Koi Nami.

Currently working on a Valentine's Day card for Heliotrope. We did a Secret Santa sorta thing for this one and will print them out and give them to each other :D! I have to kick myself back into concept art soon, for both Shadow of Liimina and KoT. Consider this a reminder.

Was requested by one of my friends :). She also requested Arcade Sona, so I'll probably draw her next. I'm addicted to drawing fanart of League of Legends characters :X.

That being said, now that I have 6 of these, they all fit on a piece of paper...which means I could potentially start printing them. Would anybody be interested if I put any of these up for sale?

So, welcome to my artwork topic, Kienamaru. This is where I post stuff that I draw.

Last night somebody told me my work wasn't "anime enough" so I drew a satire of this and posted it here, in *my* art topic. If you want to come here and poop all over my work and my supposed lack of maturity, by all means, go ahead, but don't make false claims that I would ever use my administration power against you. I have done nothing to abuse my power. If I want to draw something funny, I will post it here.

They look pretty good ash. by the looks of it fire Princess' shading was probably the most complicated to do.

I used to be super !@#$% at it. I find the best way to learn is by doing a lot of tutorials. Honestly, practice makes perfect. I should dig up some of my old drawings and compare >___<

I assume you use a writing tablet of some kind or a tablet pc. I can never make nice circles and lines with the mouse. Best i can do is using Inkscape for vectors...

If you know of any good tutorials, that'd be awesome. Then I could actual start working on the artwork side of my original projects and get out of the concept stage.

Actually, I use a Wacom Cintiq 22HD. It's probably the most expensive thing I own and was damn well worth the money. The whole screen/hand interaction makes it a lot easier to ink!

Thank you so much ^___^. I worked harder on this one, more than the others. I tried posting a link to the original in the comments but who reads comments, especially when there are hundreds of them :|.

I'll try and make something of the same quality soon, hopefully :D

I like! :) Never have been a fan of WoW (saw my brother waste a ton of his life on it which made me stay away from it), but that looks awesome. Nice shading.
