That pool was created by me drooling at those screenshots. Janet, if you cancel this game without at least 1 dungeon I WILL KILL YOU. This is by far the best OOT style fangame ever.

I admire on how you're sticking to the OOT tradition except, well... in 3D hah. This project looks very interesting, indeed. I do not know too much about "DX Studio", but is it sort of like a 3D Game Maker?

New Demo Completed Too.

Of course a programmer shouldn't be forgotten. Well programmed gameplay can most of the time save shoddy graphics, but very good graphics can never save shoddy programming. Your demo looks really nice and movement is very smooth as well. The graphics are really nice. Too bad you get stuck once you fall in the water and you have to start the demo anew.

But is it right that the chest opens, by just approaching it? And afterwards it closes again as if nothing happened. The camera still needs some work, because it still goes through walls. But I really like the progress. It was a nice play.

Hmm, nice demo. Although there are some remarks I have to make. When I jump in the big pool Link will start to swim, but in the deep small pool Link falls to the bottom. Secondly, in the deep pool I am permanently stuck, but in the hallway I can walk through walls. The collision detection is also a bit faulty at the red carpet, because Link goes up.

I don't know how many sword animations are made, but pressing 'c' always makes the sword draw and then slash animation. As well as that Link doesn't walk during this animation, while still moving forward. The swimming animation is a bit monotonous and plain. It seems as if Link is only swimming with his left arm and not his feet and right arm.

It looks good, but much has to be done before it even is a demo. I think this demo is released a bit to soon. I know a 3D game is much work, but I have a feeling this demo was released as a reason to convince yourself that the game is still being developed.

Update!

Demo 4

Yeah, there are a few oddities and stuff, but they are temporary until my programmer is back to put pieces together :)

---

Thank you for reviewing the demo :)

I agree, there are many bugs, errors and oddities yet to be fixed and repaired.
However, the programmer was testing things and I decided to give out demo's regardless if things worked horribly.

While I do agree with the bugs you mentioned and should be fixed, the programmer is working hard to fix things up, I am also working on fixing some animations as I refine them more.
For me, I usually find bugs or oddities in my work so I constantly look for these errors.

And that walking through the wall thing is a bug on the programmers end, he forgot to put collision on it and he did not mention that to me as my primary concern was the water and swimming functions :3
It will definitely be fixed.

My swimming animation does need to be worked on as I thought it needed just a few frames, but it seems things are not working out with it, so I have been working on modifying it more :)

Plus the many bugs and odd things, I do plan to begin making ladders and some form of "escape" from the places you get stuck in after many people have complained.
Originally, I didn't care if one got stuck since you did not have to save your file or do some hard work to get anywhere.
Its purely because me and the programmer, Scott, are testing things.
But after the many complaints I have received, I will add them.

I want to see some more work into these before you release another demo. There is too little changed between these. I'd rather wait for something great than play something crappy(not saying this is, its a great start). Just saying.
