inetrest rate doesn't work?

I have a feeling that the interest rate in the bank doesn't work. Infinitus has been sitting on 1000 rupees for the last few days, and according to the bank there should be a 2% increase every day.
That's why I get the feeling that it doesn't work.

It's looks as if the cron tab wasn't setup for it, I've done that now, so if the interest begins to go up, it works.
