Mine dates back several years ago, when I made a character named Lunar.
Often, I'll add "VX" at the end of my name, because generally the name Lunar would be taken on a big website. :P In my story, VX is a thing to put at the end of somebody important's name, kinda like how you call a judge "Your honour" or someone else important "Sir"..
All names I use that come from my story are: Lunar(vx), Vorpus(vx), Aezoraeon, Sykross, Caeliv, Kamagh, and Raliel.

well, mines means nothing, but it will mean something in my book, he is a half vampire adopted by the main hero, and future Redeeming(sp?), in my book so he will be someone important :P..

I was AgeOfDarknessCreator, but the matter of typing it out burnt me. People also nicknamed me AoDC. I decided it was for the best. My name means I am "The creator of Age Of Darkness," which was basically in a sense my first game. Oracle Of Life is what I wanted AoD to be. Back then I didnt know GML either :P.

Well, A long time ago I was dafunkychunk on EVERYTHING. Then eventually I got bored so changed it up a bit to dafunkydood. Eventually I changed it to wuzzy, but quickly found something more interesting: Limecat. Limecat was the picture of a cat with a lime-peel on its head:

I decided that I'd make it a bit more origional, and take away the whole 'cat' thing, and changed it to Limey. I also added the -==- because it makes it look cooler and more original ;)

It means one day a girl in class asked the date for the 3rd time that hour so I was a smartass and told her it hadn't changed in the 5 mins since she last asked so she was like "gee thanks tips" so then I created my original ZFGC account a couple days later and I was like that'll be cool. Then tips, tipps, and tipz were already taken (on ezboard) so I made it tippz.
I think it is about time for a new name for me, but I don't know what to name myself...

Bright Eyes is my favorite band :). Conor Oberst, the frontman, got the name from Planet of the Apes.

My nickname used to be Bill keaton (or billkeaton6) Then I went to Slick. But just stayed at one forum.
But I played Donkey Kong Country 2 and I kinda liked the sound of the boss of the second world "Kleever"
But when I wrote it down as my username somewhere I thought it was spelled with ea. So there.
Cleaver also means like a big chopping knife...so well

I can't say my real user name because then you'll all know who I am but all go by my SMF username:
Piers909: I got it because I hated the name Pierce (My real name) so after playing Golden Sun 2 I decided that all shorten my name down to Piers. The 909 I got because when I tried to sign up for runescape under Piers it gave me those three numbers.

Fanuilos means ever white. I found it in my copy of The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. It was originally meant to be the name of my character in the movie me and my friends are (were?) making. When I first came to ZFGC I used trainer2689, then jman2689, and made the jump to Fanuilos finally. I like the sound of it and it's fairly original.

well i was making a zelda site(www.zelda-unlimited.com), with a team, and i decided to have a nickname, my real nickname then was "knalerwt" (for the dutchies, don't laugh) but cause i was a moderator and the forum got attracting people i thought, maybe i need a name a bit more sereous, so cause i was making this game the legend of zelda the hylian soldiers, i thought, i should name myself the hylian soldier, the game still exists in my mind but i have this name for 4 years now, and i like it, also i use the sign of hyrule as my avatar always for 4 years now, cause it also is on the hylian soldiers shield,
now i've been looking for story's behind my name , and links dad in oot was a hylian soldier, so i gues i'm links dad, also the soldiers are verry noble, and my reale name is coen, wich means the heroic/brave advisor/traveling merchant, and now i'm making this game hyrule market, wich has a purposure to trade and go to far country's online and trade items with friends for questst, so i guest it's realy beginning to suit me (the name)

The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords came out and I decided that I would name myself after the Four Sword itself. Throw in a fancy number and you get 4Sword.

Nah, I just hate the extreme popularity of my full name, and the extreme idiocy associated with it. I know about nine Brandons and I'm the only one who knows both meanings of FPS. >___<

Regulus: Why i chose the username Regulus is easy....Regulus is my fave Bomberman character so i named myself that.
Buster: I chose made my username DarkBuster...which was an idea for an attack on a Megaman fan-game i thought up[which took Buster which was my nickname and i just added Dark]. Then i found out it was the name of a emo band....so i cut out the Dark in the name.

before zfgc i was called gotenjr on some dragonballz forums, then i was called johnnyswar0123.
Johnnyswar0123 = a song i liked
gotenjr = my older brother was on the same forums and i decided i'd be a little brother from dbz
gm112 = well...at the time i joined i loved game maker and enjoyed work on it...until helios influenced me into the real thing. i stuck with this name cuz i like it and the 112 was because it wouldnt accept 2 lettered names

My name has no real meaning behind it, other than my real name is Kayvan and people often call me Kaveman, hence the Cave. I'm also a big fan of StarFox and Fox McCloud, hence the Fox. The 'the' came from nowhere, I added it in even though in means that my name makes no sense. How can Fox be a Cave???
My buddy Zimo suggested that perhaps my name could be sexual innuendo, you know..."Fox" in the "Cave"...which is now my official expanation, 'cause it makes me laugh everytime I think of it!

walnut100 - Inside joke. Name spawned from 6th grade English class (Worst class EVAR BTW) The 100's just a nice number, unlike most numbered usernames.
walnut1002000 - Is basically walnut100 with a code. The 2000 comes from 100, advanced by 1, multiplied by 10 so you get an extra digit.
Cl0ud - Chat alt nick, came from a joke in the chat about l33t Final Fantasy 7 characters.
N-Gage - You bought one, didn't you? Inside joke spawned around the time I was opered on Windfyre. My newfound ability to mask my host caused N-Gage >_>
Mewtwo454545 (I think) - Don't ever call me this one, it isn't really a nick. This was my first ever online account name, specifically on Neopets. (*shudder*) I went with the generic crappy name based on something popular like a lot of internet users at the time. Just threw it in there because I did use it for a few months...

Nah, it comes from Pyromort, "Fire death"... that simply became Pyromorz, then Pyru, which is just cute.

Mine? I don't really know. I like it because it confuses people, and is very original. It was first made up for the main character of a story I was writing to convert it to a game (wich I haven't made yet, but it's sure gonna be done before I die). ;D

My name was a nickname i got from my friends (why i have no idea) so wen i joined the forum it was either this or suicidal idiot (another nickname), so i decided this one was better.

Well, when I first joined a forum I tried to think of a decent zelda-themed name. One of those was 'Master Key'. But I thought that sounded crap, so I took away the 'ey' and made the 'K' stand for my middle name.
I also go by the name 'King K' on some forums, as he was a character in Paper Mario: TTYD, but it wasn't too different from my existing name.
I've also used 'K retsam' on some forums. No need to explain that one.

My real name shortened by half, add an underscore, mirror the name and voila! It turns out that in the middle appears a X_X, which I realised afterwards and was not my first intention.

My username mean absolutely nothing! When I signed up for my first forum around 3-4 years ago some one else was using the user name I originally wanted for I just used bob.

My real name is Ricardo. And when I started using Internet (3rd grade) the girls used to call me Ricky :P
Then I started using the name for chats and later Forums.
Now, I use Ricky, Ricky5011 or Devyus :P

ZFGC was really the first place that I signed up for on my own (it was my Mom's idea to get me an email address). Since it was a Zelda themed forum, I wanted a Zelda themed name. I don't know why, but I chose Moldorm. And then I wanted it to sound more original, and apparently adding a single "A" was good enough for me at the time. So I'm Moldorma. Coolish, eh?

My name was originally not related to Zelda.
When I was 10, I was writing some story in school and I thought it was really cool. It was about this guy in Medieval Times who wore red clothes, and wielded red swords. And whenever he swung his sword through the air, flames would emit from the blade. The guy, known as Zachi, lived on the mountainsides of a volcano, and he was said to protect people from monsters. But as soon as he rescued people, he would just disappear into flames. He was known for rescuing a princess from the clutchs of an evil dragon atop the mountain.
So yeah. Then I sort of brought Zelda into the picture, and I became a Red Link.

Retrofied is a made up word by me lol meaning, was turned retro. So the second somebody calls something retro it has been retrofied. Me, well I am all about teh old skool so ya that's it. :P

I kept this name for quite a while until Zfgc, went to GA. I wanted a less zelda related names for GA, and Pixel Groove forums. So I took my name, made it backwards and messed around with that(Ymmij>Immij>Imij>Imig>Imyg>Imyge)
I wonder how many people, if any, remember Alink2thepast, my name from the early-middle IF era.

When I entered ZFGC for the first time, I called myself Fox McCloud, because at school we had to take some animal that we like and describe it. Until then I never had an animal that I really liked. Then I said, ey, what bout foxes? And geez, did I get fanatic about Foxes. And since Fox McCloud was a cool character to be, I took his name.
I then decided change my name when ZFGC moved. To Zelda-Fox. Boah, was that lame. >_< I so regretted it, but I didn't like to delete my account either.
Finally with another moving (or loss of datas I dunno) I was able to change my name again. To Fox. I had a time when I called myself the Fox (similar to Homestarrunner who was called the Homestarrunner at first, but I didn't know it back then) but that was a short fad. Now I'm here. I love my nickname.
Herr Mond (Lunar) called me Fawkes several times. 'twas pretty funny. :D

Well when I was a noob to the internet and joined my first forum (ezbord) I assumed my nickname had to be something related to the forum. Seeing as hwo it was about zelda, and I loved skullkid off of the game. I decided to use "skull kid"
I guess it just stuck. I don't want to change it for this forum since Ive had it for so long.

I used to make games out of drawings. ( Draw the levels on paper, use my fingers as the character, and let my friends tell the character what to do.) I turned one of them into a real PC game, named Warcreatures. A lot of people think my name has something to do with WOW, but, i've never even played it.
