Zookeepers were horrified when they arrived at work on Wednesday morning to see Terry, an 11-foot long saltwater crocodile, feasting on his fellow showcase reptilians at the Alice Springs Reptile Centre in the Northern Territory.

At first they thought the animals, including the zoo’s favourite, metre-long, 20-year-old goanna, had escaped from their outdoor pens and accidentally become breakfast for Terry - the local zoo’s prize attraction.

But further investigation uncovered CCTV footage of the local boy’s horrific 35-minute killing spree which began when he scaled the fence of the zoo, located in the centre of Alice Springs, a popular tourist destination town in central Australia, just before 8am on Wednesday morning.

Wow. And the kid isn't old enough to be arrested, taken to court, or anything. What a !@#$% for the zoo. : /

This makes me absolutely sick.....

How could anyone find pleasure from this? If I saw this kid right now, I would feed him to that crocodile, and see how he likes that.

Everything has to eat sometime.  And if people bother the tigers, suddenly the tigers are the vicious animal, reptiles could stand to get a little more pissed or the zoo could be better attended by personnel.  Man is truly the vicious animal.

Nah, probably some hacked version of animal crossing in which you can kill animals.

But seriously, do that have any info on whether he has pets at home that are now in a box dead under his bed? Or if he witnessed animals dying?

Isn't torturing small animals one of the critical diagnosis criteria for Psychopathy?

So yeah, there's your answer. Boy is a psychopath (well, not technically since you can't diagnose a child or adolescent as a psychopath), with therapy may be able to combat this but'll never stop being what he is...it's enough to make you wanna feel sorry for him :P Punishment merely teaches them how to hide their actions.

Why, WHY? Does this kid have to be Australian?

I guess the kid (who would have problems) wanted to see the crocodile in action, and so he needed meat, and found the closest most available source that wasn't himself. But in all honesty, I can't beleive some of you. 'This kid should be hung' 'feed him to the crocodiles' The poor kid may have problems at home, maybe he's abused. He's 7 years old. In Australia we start school at 5 turning 6. That means the kid probably doesn't know how serious this is.

But the kid can understand how to go at night, climb a fence, KILL animals bigger than him, carry them then feed them to a crocodile?
