I like both 1.6 and Source.
Source you can kill and die too easily.
I'm pro at both versions tho so I don't think you'd wanna face me. ;)
Aha.

I dunno, sometimes I'm sort of good like, I go ahead and kill 5 guys in a row, then die like 10 times in a row. O_o Still, we should play some time. :D 1vs1 is fun!

So you are more often bad like  :P (sorry had to, because it was to easy). But what is CS 1.6 and Source, I think I'm missing something.

Haha, yeah probably. It's just that there are too many cheaters playing. Half of the user base have wall hacks and auto snipers. :(

Btw, I actually meant:

not good like. :P

Well there are actually two versions of the game. There's the old one, 1.6 (which is the one I use) and the newer one, Source. I don't see why people say 1.6 is better than Source, I don't really know what the difference is.

That said, I'm off for some matches, anyone coming? :D

Okay,  That brings me to the following facts:

* It is a game that has a online multiplayer option.
* There are two version of the same game.
* You kill other people.

That doesn't tell me if it is a heck 'n slash, shooter or something else. Is it first person or third person. And do the letters CS stand for something. Is it a standalone game or a special mod of another game.

Counter Strike
Half – Life mod, created in 1999 also know as CS, which started off as the FPS games of the late 20th and early 21st century, and still has a few die-hard fans.
Game is comprised of terrorists and counter terrorist…
Plant Bombs, Rescue hostages, and kill each other until either the other side is eradicated or time runs out, or objective is accomplished… All this should be accomplished with refined (First person shooter) skills… acquired from hours of repetitive play
Game has negative connotations due to the repetitive nature of the Missions and Maps…
Game is polluted with cheaters and hackers who spend much of their time on the computer trying to accomplish an imaginary ultimate hacker status
Instead of terrorists vs. counter terrorists, the game has over time transformed into Hackers Vs. Non Hackers, with ever growing admin boots,,,, bans,,,,, kicks,,, and CD key black lists….
Due to , cheaters, anti cheat programs, abusive admins, bitchers, whiners and campers,
new hacks and MODS for the game are released on a daily basis thus… causing many people to refer to the game in a negative countenance.

Wow I didn't even read that thing when I posted it. It gives a negative image of CS. :s sort of.

AH Counterstrike. I played it once a long time ago. Not really my style of game actually. I always really sucked at fps games. You probably would get a head shot kill within the first few seconds against me. I really have bad reflexes. Not to mention I don't own a half-life copy or have installed the Counterstrike mod.

Sorry, you won't get an easy challenge from me.

learn to play source and -sniper servers. Worst part of that game is playing on servers with snipers, there's no fun involved.

I've been digging on some Source lately. It's one of the few games I always end up playing again for a while year after year.

I don't have source. I bought 1.6. >_< Are there servers where snipers are disabled in 1.6?

Yeah, I only play for like an hour max before getting bored though, mostly due to getting killed or lagg. :(

I'm not that into CSS, I just find it too different for my taste. My online gaming these days is dedicated mostly to Team Fortress 2, so I guess that's another reason why I'm not into CSS.

I used to play a killer amount of CS 1.5 and some CS 1.6 a while back with my buddies, haven't played in so long, so I'd probably be really rusty. I might be up for a few games but I've gotta buy it first :P
