I think the bottom line is that it's not legal to do any of that. The only thing you can legally do is make your own copy of a game that you bought, but not distribute it. I think... Logged

FFIX is infinitely better than the other 3D Final Fantasy games on the PS1, and I prefer it over any of the recent iterations of final fantasy games, including the III and IV remakes for the DS. I tend to like it almost as much as I liked FFVI, and had the same thing happen with it as with VI: I got to the last boss (or about to it) and then put the game down and never picked it back up. Not because I couldn't beat the last boss, but because we went on vacation, or something, and by the time I got back, I had lost my interest and moved on to another game. Logged

Final Fantasy 9 was the last good Final Fantasy game. Ever. 10 was forged from the tears of children in the fires of boredom and suffering.

Whilst definitely not the best game ever, and possibly not the best Final Fantasy game (I've not played any below 6 so wouldn't know, and never got through six because I got to the part where you're on top of the world or something, but I my characters keep on getting killed in one hit by every monster I come across), 9 was at least better than 7 and 8.

Actually, the only FF game I ever finished would be 9. 7 I got stuck at the Materia Keeper, never even finished the first Disk, and 8 I accidental deleted my disk 4 save and couldn't be bothered to go through it all again.)

Also, it has a massive soundtrack that has some great songs on it. 4 Discs of music, with a whole different disc released of songs that weren't on the main OST? That's epic right there. And the music is epic as well. It also references past games like no other, whether it's the fact that Dagger's disguise at the beginning is a White Mage outfit, or the items you can get at the auction (Rat Tail, Doga's Artifact), it is full of nostalgia. There's even an unintentional one: Queen Stella of Treno, who collects the Stellazio, shares a name with Bartz's mom in FF5. Go to ffcompendium.com and check out the In-Crossovers page for a full listing of them. Just don't have a nostalgia overload. Logged
