I got the idea when I saw the new online/offline buttons and the PM, E-mail, etc. buttons. I was thinking that the same thing could work for all the ranks including the staff ranks though I'm still not sure these changes are permanent. If they are, then I'll continue. Basically, it would work the same with the names and the sword but there wouldn't be mulitple swords. Here are the ranks below.
Brown Sword: Fairy, Picori, Deku, Kokiri
Green Sword: Goron, Zora, Hylian, Twili
Blue Sword: Oocca, Royal, Hero, Sage
Fierce Deity Sword: Deity
So, for the first four ranks, they'd have the brown sword and the rank name. Same goes with the others. For the admins, mods, developers, etc., they could include the coloured tunics from the current rank image for them. It's just an idea. If ZFGC is sticking with these changes, then the ranks should definitely change along with them. I like this idea. Lastly, I'm thinking it could go above the online/offline image but that's just me.

I agree with you.
We should have rank images that look like the email style.
It would make the forum looks a lot nicer.

I know Tim has already said he'll look into it but I'd just like to agree with the posters here. That would definitely improve the visual refresh some more. Like Yubel I can visualise them in my head :)

Sounds good, but why the colors? Bronze, Green, and Blue? Why not Bronze, Silver, and Gold? Or Green, Red, and Blue? Or something like that.

My idea was to use those swords from the ranks in the images. I don't think the staff need to go into too much trouble for the ranks.

Well, I made rank images for the Royal Green theme anyway. I kinda updated the background box thing which kinda makes it look similar to the old rank image things for the admins and such. Anyway, here they are. I'll try to make some admin ones for this theme as well. I'll probably update the theme buttons as well to fit this background style or whatever too. Is there a way to use these images for just the theme? I know is obviously works for the other images but I'm not sure about the rank images.
I made a couple changes. I added in the red sword as well to go with the whole TMC thing. So three ranks get the same coloured sword this time. I also changed it to the Four Sword rather than the Fierce Deity Sword, again to go with the TMC thing.

Not bad, Yubel. Although we're probably going to need the equivalents for the default theme (ZFGC Kokiri) before the new rank images get implemented. I suggest they use the same font and colours as the ZFGC Kokiri online/offline button does.
I use the Royal Green theme so I'm just going by it right now. The current online/offline images should be updated with the Return of Ganon font I think. I guess I'll get to work on some other images now. I might do Royal Blue edits while I'm at it.

Yeah, it's just that because ZFGC Kokiri is the default theme I think it's important to understand that any new features/changes are likely to be applied to it first. Otherwise the default theme will seem somewhat broken which doesn't look good to new and prospective members (guests).
I'll make some images for the ZFGC Kokiri and Royal Green themes then. I'm guessing that these 2 themes are the major ones here.

My advice is really to work on the basis of the default kokiri theme if you wish to design graphics. The others are superflous and are used by VERY few people.

I meant one that's just called "Member" like how for admins it's called "Manager". It doesn't matter anyway though.

Out of what I've been told, you can have a rank image and position image in. If these rank image changes happen, it would remain the same except people who have the swords appearing will just have the image there.

My original frames only had a shadow on the bottom/right, and these ones have a shadow all the way around. Try going back to the original style.

No :S. You originally wanted two rank images, one with the position and the other with the actual post rank. As you can see, at the moment there is only ever one. I could mod the system to allow two, but it would require changing a far bit.

I meant a rank image for for each theme, not rank and position.
My original frames only had a shadow on the bottom/right, and these ones have a shadow all the way around. Try going back to the original style.
I thought I'd try something different. It still looks the same, I used the same colours as the first one, I just made it a bit different. I'm sure if I make the dark green borders a bit brighter, they'll look fine.

Nah, we don't use the chat-op membergroup anymore I don't think.

Also, I thought of a new idea for the rank images. I was thinking that we could use just one image for all the themes. The only way this will work is if you still have the brown "Member" rank image that looks similar to the old position images. I was thinking I could use the brown instead of the light green and dark green for the default and royal green themes.

I never really thought about it, but yeah, having badges for post groups is kind of cool. Well done, and the new images for staff look great.
