Title: MM Remix Demo 1
Post by: LiNk1090 on October 15, 2006, 07:38:22 pm
Hey, I am creating a MM like remake using ZC, called MM Remix, unlike OoT Link's return,it will have way more to it then a few dungeons and like no houses or anything. Demo 1 is right here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=P6RDIFT6

hmm...nice. although like he said, its woodfall. not deku swamp dungeon. Will you have EVERYTHING in it or just dungeons and stuff? (by everything i mean bombers notebook, going back in time, the three days, and all that jazz)

Not exaxt same overworld, No bombers notebook for it wood have no use in ZC games, and ZC can't have the 3 days thing as far as I know.

with ZC it's very limited that's why its very rarely used. It's good for making some basic zelda games but if you want to make an MM remake then you're going to have to work in a different program.

Not exaxt same overworld, No bombers notebook for it wood have no use in ZC games, and ZC can't have the 3 days thing as far as I know.

That would just make it another quest with the Majora's Mask title slapped on it. If you want a simple point and click with a bit more freedom then you should get RPG Maker 2003 or 2000 (XP is not too bad either) they have built in map designers which are a lot easier to use than the ZC program. Plus everyone doesn't have to download a program to play it.

I would play it but I don't want to download ZC again. If you do by chance try out RPG Maker and you need some help just let me know.

He's right, MMF or GM, that's the way to go for easy but efective clicking.

yea by the looks of his skills, he wouldnt be able to make a fully attractable functionable abs in rm2k3 or rmxp...it took me months to make one that was decent in rm2k3, but if ur wanting the actual zelda style movement and less complication use gamemaker..ive never used it, ive just worked with rm2k3 for awhile and thats my program id prefer to use

well GM has programming which would probably stump him, as for MMF I have never used it.

MMF is the evolution of click and create and Klik and Play, its really easy to use and can make fairly complex 2D games without any real coding, the coding is done inside an event editor when you literally just create the event and tick boxes, coding can be done too but the event editor is a great way of getting inexperienced people started on their first projects. I suggest that if he wants to seriously make a game he considers MMF, its easier to get to grips with than GM6.

I think going to the bathroom stumps this guy

Either way what is MM without the 3days Bombers notebook(including the missions) and proper mapping

I hope you get further in progress. Until then I won't really comment. I'll keep checking back from time to time, to see if some new updates are coming.

Get some more screenshots up!

I'm downloading ZC for this, it better be worth it.

I'll edit this post with my thoughts

It said unable to load quest, MMQuest.qst is an invalid file or something
