Chill.  Patience is a virtue you know.  He'll release it when it's ready, not before.

Granted, people said the same thing about TRM's OoT2D, but let's leave that out of it.

note the little red dot next to it. I'd take it as being the hookshot's target.

I was about to post that lol.

Ah.

So..when there are multiple targets, pressing a key will switch between them, by switching to..the closest target to the one your targeting?? ..the next in line within a field of view of your direction (ie loop through each thats within Pi/2 of which ever direction link faces) ?? ..Could even have link able to turn through various angles (to appear rotating) and face targets?? (though that'd be less practical).

These are beautiful screenshots!

I couldn't help but notice that every one of your screenshots has a different resolution... the first screen is 560x480 pixels (which, as some have already pointed out, is uncommon), and the second screen is 592x416... also an odd resolution. And then there's a third screen that has yet another different resolution of 364x366! I'm curious, have you nailed down a final resolution for your engine yet? Or can your engine change resolutions on the fly? That's a new concept - do you find it jolting when your game window changes sizes every time you move from room to room?

Your tileengine must be kinda weird as well: at one point I was sure you were using a tile size of 15x15 or perhaps 31x30, but then I couldn't help but notice when looking at your screenshots that many tiles don't line up with one another; take a look at this image:

Can your engine place tiles on pixel boundaries, instead of just being able to place them on tile boundaries? I don't believe I've ever seen anything like that before in a real game. How cool!

I have been browsing this board, and so far this is by far the best post on it.

Heh. This post is indeed very authentic and the best in the topic. However, the tiling-problem might be an issue of using flash.
But you're right about the resolutions. That's very odd and suspicious.

Nice screen...but...why are you just showing one specific part of like one temple, why dont u show us a few pics of a few different temples? Like, it seems TO perfect.....I dunno and I also belive in your point FFHF xD

Also you should really make some animations >_> cause its gonna look retard using the hookshot with his arm down >_< and him pushing the block by just walking into it >_<

You know, im not saying these ARE mocks...but...you'd think he would have animations...this is kinda makin me think he took OSM's Link and just posted it in......and changed colors/added weapons/etc...
