You don't have anything against water types. I'd lose Umbreon as you already have Sharpedo as Dark type. And Gengar isn't really needed either. I'd replace him with a Psychic

Tyranitar has Thunder, that's the only move good against water.
I agree that Gengar could be changed though. Overall, I think it's pretty good.

I find mine with programs such as using torrents. I wouldn't recommend going to google those kind of stuff.
I recommend other programs that has a good search engine, that alot of people use.

It is true that Mario is dragging on. There hasn't been a revolutionary Mario game in some time now. Sunshine was nearly perfect - but not reinventing the wheel. New SUper Mario Bros. was really fun. It's sad - Mario is Nintendo's main series, yet it is slowly dying out. There is Galaxy, which to me, looks awesome - but I want to see another revolution. Twilight Princess was a revolution - unbelievable. And Zelda is far from dying out.

I agree on Mario games. I also agree how New SMB was fun, but it was short and too easy. There's definitely no way both Zelda and Mario series will die out though.

Other Discussion / Wii on PC monitor
« on: March 16, 2007, 05:24:05 am »
Anyone here plays Wii on their PC monitors?
If so,
Are you able to set your resolution to 480p?
What kind of convertors should i get to avoid lagging?

I've been waiting to play my Wii in my room, so right now i've found some pretty cheap XGA/VGA convertor.
So i want to know before i buy them.
Thanks.

New Interview:
http://media.ds.ign.com/articles/773/773051/vid_1935708.html
With Eiji Aonuma. He says, he'll be 44 soon, meaning he's kind of "up there" for game creators. He also goes on mentioning how he will train the people below him and make them Zelda creators as well...

In a way, good news, because proves Legend of Zelda (Games) will never die.
In a way, bad news, because future Zelda games may not have the "Same" elements or feel to them.
Who knows...? We'll just have to wait and see.  ::)

I just talked to a friend of mine today, he works at the theatre. He told me, the past 2 days (The first 2 days when the movie came out) was a huge mess. They had to keep running more theatres just for 300, there were massive lines up everywhere. People coming in and out of the lines, and it was really hard to control. Pretty crazy... @o@
300 never appealed to me that much, but now i'm thinking about seeing it... who knows.  ::)

You can almost hear the pilot go "Oh, ."

I don't hear any sounds from the video at all. But it's very interesting though, thanks for sharing  ;D
BTW, the youtube sticky is a very good idea.

Entertainment / Re: Sony unveils HOME
« on: March 12, 2007, 09:38:27 am »
So far, it looks too complicated.

Mii channel = Simple, interactive and (In a way) "fun"

Home = Too big, seems hard to access. It doesn't seem in any way fun or something you want to spend alot of time on. At least for me, i wouldn't spend alot of the time, chatting on that thing. Nor walking around checking out trailers/awards/records. I'd probably spend some time designing my own character and my room. After that i'll probably get bored of it in a week.

I'm sure Nintendo can easily pull off some of the features of HOME just from Animal Crossing or Sims in a more fun and interactive way. Sony's idea may be cool and all, but i doubt it'll attract alot of people.

My opinon about Mii Channel:
Many people complain (Forums and friends) about the lack of features (Online/Offline) of the Miis. I think Nintendo meant to not make it to deep is because, they don't want people to be spending more time playing with the Mii channel. If they made too many features such as chat, mii houses/rooms or a big online interactive channel for the Miis. Then that will mean it will be taking away the future features of Animal Crossing/Sims. If the Mii can offer what AC/Sims has at the lauch of the console, no one will be that interested in the future sim-type games.
But i have to agree, the usage of Miis in games is way too less.

Is there anyway to fix all those, "paper-like" hair in Video games? (In Fissure's video, and they have the same kind of hair in DoA)

Anyways, don't know the game too well but so far, it looks great.

« on: March 04, 2007, 11:02:19 am »
The screen size is great for me, I would get one if they were cheaper, because of Wind Waker, FF:CC, and Pacman VS.

GBA Micro can't connect with GC, because the cable doesn't fit... I was thinking about getting one too, good thing it came to my mind that micro was really small. So i had some doubts with the cable stuff, then i did some research.
Conclusion GBAM <-/-> Gamecube.
Quote
Also, the GameCube-Game Boy Advance cable does not work with the Game Boy Micro. A gamer discovered how to heck the cables to restore such compatibility
I guess you can heck the cables like stated (From Wiki) but I got a SP on ebay instead. (Along with WarioWare =D)
Plus: SP can use DS's charger... (Not sure about Micro)
