Sorry for no updating :s

Life get in the way of progress, and I couldnt
do so much this. I have been making inventory,
it is much harder to do than I thought, and also
I have done some other things too. I dunno
how much I have made since last demo :< I should
do the progress diary. Oh, first enemy, octoroc has
made, and also bombs are done. Explosion is bad :I

I tried making Zora, but that was horrible, and also
took lot of my time, so I cut it off. But should I
replace demo with newer one, because of that
resolution :I

I want know how heavy is this in your computers, so play this and tell your avarage fps. This is incomplete, and only purpose is test fps. If slow computer, look out 400 pot square.

ANOTHER OoT2d? I wish someone actually finished one  :P
Yeah, me too :/ Couldn't all who are making OoT2d just do like this:
"Hey, I make the deku tree dungeon"
"Ohohoh, and I will make Jabu Jabu"
"And I will make the Forest temple"
"Ok, and I will do Kakariko Village"
etc.
And after that, they assemble them together and do some things
to make them look as one piece. There are so many people who
are trying revive OoT as 2D, so if all of them would work as team...

And by the way, do you know how many were making real OoT?
Watch the credits and start count :)

But about your game, screens are good, but we wanna see other
dungeons too, because if my memory serves me right, Deku Tree
have been done already.

I have some good and bad news, good news first.

Its somehow commented and you can remove givecredit text
from hud object (draw-event, the last pieces of code)

And bad news, I ripped off Deku and Goron and some other
things that you havent seen graphic demo. Oh yeah, it has
pretty messy code, sorry for all.

The legend of  Zelda  Flying Rooster
  • This is fanmade Zelda game, not licensed by Nintendo. All rights and Zelda trademark belongs to Nintendo.

  • Backstory:
    Long ago, there were three Heroes, who saved the Land from a Great Evil.
    These three Heroes were thought to be blessed by the Goddesses as they could slay Evil, that none of the Brave Knights of the Land could.
    Before the Heroes came, the Evil had taken over the Land and placed a curse upon it including; Floods, Infernos, Insects and Diseases.

    Three Heroes came out of nowhere and disappeared after the fierce battle.
    Some people believed then Heroes went back to the Heavens where they came from.
    Others believed they are still wandering among them, waiting for a new evil.
    As time passed, the legend became a fairytale to tell children and soon it was completely forgotten.

    But in the end, what really happened to the three heroes?

    As powerful as the Heroes were, they couldn't slay the Evil so they decided use Ancient magic to seal away the Evil for good.
    The keys to the seal were the Heroes themselves and very few knew this. These few quickly built three temples to keep the parts of the seal safe, so none could lay hands on them.

    But...
    When people forgot the Heroes and legend, temples were left empty. Nobody took care of the pieces of the seal, which caused the seal to weaken. This created a hole and Evil minions began to escape. As the seal weakened more it allowed the more powerful the Evil minions to get out of the as well.

... Now I think one thing, sometimes good games dont get almost no attention, but sometimes bad fangames get lot of attention.
Even my game isnt best, it still make me see red, if someone "Hey look at that, its made with GM, Lol! n00b!" Game is game even its made by program. Someone just cant understand C or other language, so they can start with easier. Because of no attention will to make game will drop down, because it makes think "Noone wants try/play this, I suck"

First thing you might think is:
What is bumple?
Bumple is lizard/human like creature, and one finnish(Nickname: Isis Masshiro) develop these characters (webpage: http://www.isisindex.net/ )
Bumple is blue colored and always something happens to them.

The Game
The game based to Isis comic Bumple at horrorcastle (straight translate) But you are alone this time.
In part1 you are going to castle, and part2 you will be in castle. You try survive in game and try get out, because door get closed when you go in.
There is zombies, skulls eyeworms and other things you must kill or avoid. You can go back in rooms and have about 15 weapons.
You have to use weapons wisely or you will make enemys worser.

What is new?
Part2 have brand new graphics, all graphics is by me(Drandula) and you have more items and "Matrix"-power have more effect in game.
"Matrix"-power is called "Matrix" because I once saw Matrix movie and there was bullet-time effect. Bullet-time power sounded crappy and I decided it will be 'Matrix'-power.  In game you will meet more enemies than part1 and you must kill with right way, like I wrote before. In castle there is shop too, you can buy things like bomb and more health, but you can find free substitute for these items.

In beta, those messages is in other language, sorry :( Those messages tells about keys.

Controls:
Arrowkeys=move, down kick ghostball up.
Z = action key (doesnt do anything in beta)
X=Use item (doesnt do anything in beta)
F4 = fullscreen/window
Esc = exit
In beta more keys:
Enter = restart current room
Space = More 'Matrix'power
1 and 2 = Change room

This is so amazing! First Zelda fangame what I am really waiting! You are great spriter, coder and you have develop great story for this game. I played demo and now I really want play full version, even it takes months, or years ;)

In demo, rolling attacks sound effect sucks, and it makes me see red, because I use it for moving faster (Link runs so slow >< ) so I hear repeatly same irritating sound effect, so please, change it for better.
And other thing what makes me see red is when I go stairs, sometimes I will go back because for mistake I press up key when view gets black. That isn't really bug, so I didn't find any bugs in demo and that is very good thing.

I wanted somekind transformation to Link in other world, but as you said, no transformations  :'(
Still this is the best Zelda fangame ever! And this looks like Nintendo´s Zelda game :3 Go working to Nintendo  XD

I am waiting for next demo...

And I'm thinking that game will be more interesting if temples are little different, that you wont play same thing that you played in OoT3D, and with that you can match problems of changing 3d to 2d.

In this engine, you can lower your health pressing mouse.

Cross heals you bit or if you die, you can come back to life if you use cross and you have spirit power more than 75%
Flame dont do anything for this time, bottle heals you, bomb explodes and can kill you and last one dont do anything.
Last sword ups your spirit power little every attack.
