Main Story


Story of The Symbol Of Life

Info before the story
In Timeline- 1 week before you (The Hero) starts the quest
Main Purpose of this story-How Goqec Palace was lost.
Goqec Palace's last use- Laigonaz's Palace

The Story

The Symbol Of Life. The most powerful of all the three Symbols. It was given to Laigonaz as a Gift when he became the King Of Lustria. Tumpton told him to never forget the following words
"Laigonaz, you have two jobs as King Of Lustria. One is to rule Lustria to a Golden Age and the second is to guard the Symbol of Life with your life."
Laigonaz kept to the first job very well.

But the second......

Laigonaz had lost the Symbol to Deckra, a Deku Plant at first, but the Symbol activated. Deckra mutated and knew of it's powers and used it against Laigonaz and all of Lustria.

Hundreds of Lustrians died before Deckra and it's power. Deckra could not be beaten due to his knowledge of what Laigonaz can and can't do.

But Deckra didn't know animals as well as Lustrians.

But the one thing Deckra knows nothing about is

Wolves.....

its OK for a demo, but it's a bit too buggy.

Once i go to the pause screen and i choose my weapon somehow i teleport onto the wall at the bottom of the screen and get stuck.
In front of the bed i collide with a invisable object.
------Thats about it so far.

Overall good job/needs bug fixes

Thanks, I'll copy and paste it into my bug account remember, I won't be releasing the third demo until the bugs are fixed so do you know how to stop them?- Will try to stop

NOBODY try to leave the house, I have found a bug and I will try to stop it before it ruins it so just stay in the house you start in. Problem solved (This is why I need people to point out the bugs and tell me how to solve them)

I really need someone who could help me so I need some staff for this to ever work. I need

1 Coder

1 Spriter

These two people will get credit for all the work they do. Anyone intrested?

You need to completely remake the walking engine. It's pretty bad. Also, the collisions are weird. I walked into a tree and couldn't escape. There's a problem with the sword and how it cuts, along with the fact that rupees always appear in front of you instead of on the bush they were cut from. Finally, the character sprites' colours and style don't really fit in with the LttP tiles you have there. There's still a lot of work to be done before this is demo-worthy IMO.

The movements a bit jumpy at the moment if you could tell me how to solve it, I would be grateful. The collisions, yes could do with some work but it's only demo two so if you know how to solve it please tell me. The trees, yes I agree I just forgot (cough cough HOMEWORK) There rupees I know how to solve. The sword, PLEASE HELP!. The tiles, I didn't remember. Apart from that, what do you think of it?

Apart from that, I don't know, there's not much.

It's hard to tell you how to solve things if I don't know what you've done though. I can suggest collision masks to help with irregular shapes like the trees, but other than that I don't know. Same with the sword; if I don't know what you're doing, I don't know how to solve it. I can, at the very least, suggest you check out this topic here:

There's a movement, a sword, and a shield engine you could look at to sort of help you. Mind you, I'd probably use the movement engine in full instead of the one you've got right now.

Havent played demo, dont really plan onto, the HUD needs a fix >_> and a few other things..but one thing...to u...in the screenshot, does that guy look like a guy from the KKK? XD

1-The main field (Don't bother with this, it's going to be done)
2-Some monsters (Knights (LTTP), Octorok, you get the idea)
3-A few more towns (Don't bother with this, it's going to be done)
4-A new item? (Don't bother with this, it's going to be done)
5-Part of the first dungoen (Way to make puzzles)
6-The X button when buying/opening something problem ironed out. (Simple bit of global.varible stuff is what I used)


If anyone knows how to do any of these things, don't hesitate and tell me! It could be you who are in the credit document at the end of when I've made the game!

The following bugs have been seen to for the next demo (SECOND DEMO DOESN'T HAVE THE FIXES);

Collisions
Rupee and bush
Sprites
Inventory

There still is the sword and movement see the zela coding and progrmming for more details.

I'm actually good but I can't do this on my own (In fact I don't even mind you saying that. that's was what I was expecting. But i have done the trade items,bow with ice,fire and light arrows,hookshot,boomerang,roc's feather,hoverboots(improved),biggoron's sword, fire and ice rod and the megaton hammer!)

It's just that I really can't do this alone mind you the coder and spriter WILL be featured in the game if they want to

You'll see (If I can get help with the game)

Anywho I have been doing the main land of Lustria. It's VERY big but that's part of my master plan. When your doing a temple/exploring and you need to do something, you press a button and the game saves (NOT doing till the game is actually finished apart from one file)

Also I will start the first dungeon
