I installed it and tried it. It's pretty fun. I got to Lv8 then decided I was done for the day. And they really are some nice graphics!

I think I'll try it. Come to think of it, my friend that said that doesn't even really like RPGs. o_O

I just joined Maple Global or w/e and I was going to try out Maple Story. It looked pretty cool to me, but my friend said it sucks. (Of course, he might just be mad becuase he got b7 for hecking.) So, if anybody here has tried Maple Story, could you tell me if it's any good?

I played an Illusion of Gaia rom, but I only got as far as the thing above the desert. That thing is hard. I really like the way your stats improve (killing all enemies in a room.) It really gives you a reason to want to fight everything, you know what I mean?

If you need more money, you can always rob an armored truck. <_<

Sue? No, that's too... legal. Nintendo should shoot up Sony's block!  ;D

That sprite-looking one is sweet! Will this logo be used for all ZFGC games or just Zelda ones?

If the title is anything like what the game is going to be, then it sounds sweet! gl with this!

BTW, you're not new at programming are you? I could have sworn I saw some stuff made by you around here...

I think it's falling at the same time it's standing. It can fall because it's on solid ground, but it trys to fall because it's also above the air, if that made any sense.

Oddly enough, once I read that I realized how I could fix it! :) (I hope it works!)

EDIT: Yep, it works! Thanks, XD

Coding / [Request / Solved] [GM6] Platformer Question
« on: May 22, 2006, 01:13:15 am »
I'm trying to make a platformer, and it's working fine except for one thing... When I go so that I'm half on a block and half on nothing, the character shakes like he's having an epileptic seizure! I've looked all through the platformer demo, and I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. Anybody got any ideas?

I'll post the .gm6 if I have to...

I would want to be a Zora! I've always wished I could breathe underwater... but then again I'm kinda glad I can't, because if I could then I'd be a freak! XD

Entertainment / Re: Favourite Zelda Game and why
« on: May 20, 2006, 01:58:32 am »
My favorites are LttP, OoT, and LA. OoT Had the best story... I guess if I think about it it's the best elements of all of them, but I can't get enough of LttP, even to this day! There's something about it that makes me play it over and over, whether it be the GBA version or the original SNES version. It has so many unlockables, so much gameplay, so much... great stuff. Don't mind me... I'm just reminiscing! LA is sweet too! I love how it has those platforming elements. I misplaced the cart a while ago though, I've been looking for it lately but can't seem to find it. The ending was really good, too.

Looks sweet! I'll probably suck at it though, because I don't know anything about economics or that stuff. I'll try it though!

Also, I love that it's such a quick download! *has dial-up* <_<;

Oh, wow! I never would have noticed that if you didn't say anything. I really like that sprite. Especially how it's not square like most Links, lol.

$25? Hmm... maybe I'll pick it up. And you were right about the W3Schools tutorial. It sucks!  :D

Best place to learn it is php.net.

Thanks! I didn't even think of going to the official website. I'm stupid sometimes  :D

w3c schools only teaches you the basics. I suggest getting PHP 5 fast and easy, a book. You could probly find a torrent of it. ITS GREAT.

I don't know if I can afford it... I just spent like $80 at the bookstore last week on some manga and a C++ book. (The C++ book wasn't even any good, it was all n00b stuff...) Is it expensive?

Those screens/mock-ups look great! :) I like those trees.

But I don't like the title screen. The background isn't really that great IMO.

BTW, is it just me or is that one guy in the first screen a recolor of that fairy guy from SoM?
