Hello everybody on ZFGC. My major project that I have kept secret for a long time is now going to be revealed. I have created a browser called Panlex and it is fully functional. It is available for download and is not a demo it is the full version. To see what all the buttons do click here. To download Panlex 1.0 click here. *ATTENTION* You must keep both of the files in the same location or the browser will not work. You can put the browser in the quick launch bar as long as the dtbrowser file is on the desktop. I have created this browser with GM and I might give away the source. Please tell me what you think and remember it is my first browser I ever made and it is not easy. There is also no installation required!

Damn that sucks... Also from all the people so far they say it runs faster than Firefox!

Is this a new fad? Making internet browsers? Geez, I'd continue the production of Oceanis Web Browser, with the awesome Wii-esque GUI, but I'd need to write an HTML parser in GameMaker. I couldn't :P.

Anywya, nice work with Panlex :).

In GM, you can use the include list in the game settings to keep the DLL with the exe file. You can make it create the DLL in the game's temp folder and then load it from there. Then you wouldn't need to download/extract it as two files.

The actual thing seems to work fine. Did you make the DLL yourself? Does it just use IE's rendering engine?

Well I am not going to make a new topic for it but I fixed it up and it is version 1.2. It is Panlex 1.2 it is again free (and always will be). It is infact faster than Firefox. To download it click here

Here is a screenshot of Panlex 1.2.

did you write the DLL yourself, or use the premade one from the gm forums?

Tried it out and there were many thing I didn't like about it.

1) Search Engines didn't work
2) Hotmail kept signing me out/wouldn't let me sign in
3) I could press TAB to switch from one selected box to another
4) Many more, can't remember them all though.

It was good otherwise, I only tried it temporarally but it was good.  Fast too. 6.5/10

Hotmail kept signing you out because this browser most likely does not support cookies! Come on, it's a tiny ZFGC WIP.

Yeah. It is a GM game. Not a pro browser. It does support cookies but not for long.
