how to convert images in hq2x

Hey everyone,

I joined the site mostly for help converting some images, and I thought this community would have someone who might be able to help me.

I basically have sprite sheets of Zelda, and I'm trying to use hq2x to smooth them out, but for some reason it won't create the .bmp file.

I created a shortcut for hq2x and in the target wrote different variations of "D:\Game Development\Programs\hq2x\hq2x.exe" "boy.bmp" "converted.bmp", yet when I double click the shortcut it doesn't create the converted image. What am I getting wrong here?

One of the users here created image convertion software some years ago. I'll see if I can still find it for you.
