This is to sort of give you an idea about the sort of quality level I'm going for, essentially what I've done is taken a rip and using it as a base for the design, created a higher quality vector graphic out of it.

That's really great!
Why the weird size though?
If you could, you should totally redo the roads in 256x256 instead of what I have done in 128x128.

Either way, it's much better quality than my quickies. ;p

Like I said, it's to give you an idea, size wasn't my concern at the time, mind you, this does take time to develop, I think I spent a couple of hours doing it.

Its... Pretty... Yeah... Pretty...

But what I was going to say, thanks Frozenfire for your roadtiles,
but Windys were little better. But Windy, I had little modify it,
because it got white outlines if used in GM.

Also I don't need road corner tiles, because if its going like this I need
also diagonal roadtiles. "!@#$% this" I thought and I started coding road.
So, now its only one road object, before every roadtile had own object,
and I can do this [Check attachment] Code still needs some fine-tuning.

I need items menu screen :< Also items icons.

OH NICE! :o

Yeah, it does need a little "fine-tuning" but it's still great!
I'm just looking at all the other nice graphics you've got now too though!

I REALLY like what I'm seeing!

ALso, Windy did say that her road was just to give an idea; it wasn't the complete product. So I don't know if she was going to fix the white outlines or not in her complete road.

How many items will your item screen need to hold though? And what items? And what is your preferred size for  them?

EDIT:
Ah, just noticed the items on the first post. So the items menu should ONLY have slots for those items on your first post? ? ?

Thanks,
So can Windy make final product of that roadtile?

For items... I still haven't got story, so its pretty hard to say
what items I will use :I But basic weapons, like hookshot, bow,
bombs(Now using ripped, need change), boomerang.
Also four bottles, Ocarina of time(maybe) and Shield.
So 11 slots, and few extra slots in items screen. And here is example
what it should look like:
http://lizzardzone.com/images/wind%20waker/uvs070630-011.BMP
As you see, it doesn't fill up whole screen.
And now I remembered, I want change buttons more WWish. Now they
look like from OoT or MM.

Well, I did what was probably the easiest one. :P

Attached is a bomb. You like?

I made sure it works in GM too (no white outline).
I really wish GM could handle transparencies better. :(

EDIT:
Oh, and that is not ripped. I simply used the same colors and tried my best to make it look like the original.
EIDTx2: Just fixed a few tiny things I noticed. ^_^

I find it unusual that you're getting white outlines, how are you importing and drawing the texture?

I made a higher resolution pic for you, windy.

WWFan, when you export from vector programs, if your image isn't at a whole number (say the x is 5, but the y is 4.3) you get semi-transparent lines at the top and bottom to compensate. I can see them just by looking at it :P

Wouldn't explain the white outline though.

Anyway, I've finished what I would call the definitive version, I made a few adjustments to make it tile better.

My personal crit would be adding "grass" to the sides, so it doesnt look like sand piled on grass, but paths dug into the grass.

I like the idea :)
I can also try to sink road to give more effect for that.
Raise your hand now, if you want make menu screen.

Thanks Frozenfire, looks good :) can you make other icons too?

That bomb was the easiest item to do since it was made of basic shapes and it still took me a long time to make it. The program I use to make graphics is Paint.NET, which isn't a bad program at all, but it's not the best for doing this. I don't really have the free time to struggle with making the more difficult graphics.

I think others such as DJ and/or Windy would be able to do the other graphics much better and faster than me, in the fact that they have more experience and probably have better graphics programs.

I do hope to be able to help out some more on your project in the future, but for now I think I'd better focus on life matters and my own Zelda project that has been put on hold MUCH too long (been too busy trying to find ways to help with other people's projects, lol!).

I hope I helped you out some though. Good luck! :)
