I still love the games. The biggest change is I'm not getting hyped up over the next game. When they come out, I'm all over them but I don't get hyped over it pre-release.

It may hurt the game companies a bit but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's piracy.

I was playing around with 3DS Max and made a short animation of my Halo emblem. I added the background was put in with After Effects.

I agree with Jay almost 100%. Christmas starts way too early. It's annoying. People are decorating before Thanksgiving as well as radio starting music. Wait until the 10th or so of December (the one part I disagree with, 5 days seems a bit too close to Christmas).

Alright. I've been working on this project for a while for my flash class. I've already turned it in but I'm fixing it the way I wanted.
Anyway, my problem is I want a Movie Clip (instance name = menu_txt) to rotate and come to a smooth stop when I click a button (instance name = up_arrow). It works but only once.
So, basically, I have that image. I want it to rotate counter-clockwise. It starts out where it says "Str." The rotation when I click the up arrow works from 1 to 2 but doesn't from 2-3 3-4.
The code I have set is on the frame on an other layer.
Like I said, the first one works but the other 3 don't. Any ideas. I can provide more info if need be.

The best advice I can give you is to get an LCD. Generally, they're better for gaming (no chance of "image burning"). Other than that, I don't have the expertise to suggest anything else.

I haven't given up on the Wii yet. I don't think it will continue this sea of casual games with one or two good games per year. Not saying casual games or gamers are bad, I just don't enjoy them. I'm waiting for the next Zelda and Mario games. Hopefully there's more to look forward to but for now, I'm waiting for something but I'm not entirely expecting it.

That show ruled on so many levels. I remember when they started showing it as being rated MA on other stations. I remember thinking "Holy crap, I watched that show as a kid on Nick!"
