Lttp pegasus boots dust

Hello again guys. Okay. So for my Lttp fangame, I'm currently making the Pegasus boots. I know the mechanic for the charging and charging dust, but after you run, there is supposed to be dust trailing behind link. Like this:

I use a controller object for all my drawing and effects in the game, but I haven't the faintest idea on how to make the trailing dust for the Pegasus boots. I've ripped all the sprites. Plz help me!

I'm not sure what you're using to code, but maybe you could look into particles?

or just putting on a Spritesheet to activate in the "Pegasus Boots" Running state =/

I'm not sure I understand the problem. You're having problems animating the dust clouds seperate from link?

Guys, I might think I've got it... Ill just tell object controller to draw the dust if state == something. I'll try it as soon as I get back. :)
