i have a bit of acne. it goes away if i dont eat junk food. i use a special cream and little face wipe things and it works REALLY well

i have light acne. i just use lava soap and it goes away

Eat high fiber cereal with low fat milk and not the regular one, which is perhaps the red one. Exercise wearing loose fitting clothes.

Acne is not caused by greasy food and by dirt. Do not pick on the skin, such as white and black heads, hey I know is probably a habit, but get use to it.

Wow glad everyone reminded me >_> except it's almost gone now.

Mine was genetic, as in none of those crazy theories were the cause. My dad had it, my grandpa had it, so of course I'd get it. Anyhow for my case the only thing worth a damn has been Accutane. Side-effects are bitches, but I'm a man (despite what some assholes might say) and can take it.

I have mild acne on my face that comes and goes, but my back and shoulders are horrible. I've got noticeable scarring there as well. I've never tried Accutane, I don't want to deal with the side effects. And of course nothing else works.

Have and hate. Used to have short blonde hair and be really skinny and acne free. Then I got a computer. Now I have long brown hair, am overweight and have acne like there's no tomorrow.

I have had a bit of acne, but after I started using Clearasil Ultra © It's gotten a lot less. I'd reccomend it.

I never had acne and I probably never will because I've a dry skin and one of my friends told me people with dry skins don't get acne.

Yes, that is one of the main reasons. The pads I use contain a lot of alchohol which dries out your skin.

It's not that big of a problem really. It's not like my skin starts to peel off or something.

Yeah, my skin isn't doing that either. I believe I have a dry skin because I like to take a hot (and I mean really hot) shower, and that's not good for your skin it makes it itchy XD

I luckily don't have any acne, but the best way to cure acne (and prevent it) is not to use soap, but rather use specialized lotions and pads that are designed to treat acne (preferably non-alcoholic), don't touch or pop pimples, and keep your face as clean as possible.

And eating healthily :/, most of my friends who have acne don't eat well at all. I've been brought up with good meals every day and so have a pretty healthy diet considering my age, so that helps I suppose.

You guys know that Rubbing Alcohol is perhaps not good at all, wouldn't it irritate the skin?

It kills the microbes that cause it in the first place. Combined with a mild soap - to help remove the excess oil and dirt - should work fine.

A little bit of skin irritation is slightly better than an ass-load of acne. *cough kyle cough*

No skin irritation at all, only when I just apply it, but that only lasts for a few minutes.
