Are you kidding?

Twilight Princess was a gamecube game, forcefully ported to the wii.
Skyward Sword is the only zelda game made from the ground up completely for the wii.
It's made to take use of the motion plus controls from the start and is probably one of the only games ever to have you use skill in the way you use the sword, not just press a button (or shake the remote like with twlight princess) and have the game do it all for you.
But that's only one tiny aspect of it, ignoring that, it's still looking to be one hell of a big, incredible adventure, and we barely know that much about it still, with all sorts of new awesome looking stuff.

I suggest you read some things like these (there are all sorts of sites writing tiny previews like these):

At this rate it may be one of the best zelda's ever made it seems.
I just hope there's an option for the classic controller ;)

Are you still working on the game?  XD

Hey everyone!
I saw the skyward sword trailer and it seemed like a decent game, but it also had that same held-back feeling that twilight princess did. In twilight princess, the gameplay didn't feel right because of the controls. Nintendo should make an old-school console game with easier gameplay.

Will you buy it?

Thanks,  I (coincedentally) rented enemy at the gates yesterday and it was great (now #9 on my list).
edit: I also rented empire of the rising sun but it wasn't very good for three reasons-
1- It was completely unrealistic, with a 12 year old kid thriving in a prisoner of war camp
2- The Japanese would've killed him and his friends multiple times throughout the movie
3- It just screamed "Spielberg"  if you know what I mean

How long do you have to serve in the army in finland

I don't remember him saying he was in the army and putting this project on hold. Just that he was joining in 2011
Everybody over the age of 18 in finland is required to serve in the military, although I think you know this and you're just trying to argue

I asked two of my teachers and they both said in the exact same words that they "didn't care for it"

I've been to learn about World War 2 in general, so I even watch home-front movies/videos
e.g. "The Best Years of Our Lives", "Mrs. Minniver", "Why we Fight", "Triumph Des Willens", "Hitler's Eduction For Death" (made by disney), etc.
So do you guys know of any good movies about the war in the pacific? I've seen The Pacific, but had a hard time finding other movies.

1: downfall
2: das boot
3: the pianist

5: letters from iwo jima
6: grave of the fireflies
7: saving private ryan
8: flags of our fathers
9: enemy at the gates

Other good but not great movies: patton, tora tora tora, a bridge too far,
the thin red line, the guns of navarone (very cheesy), schindler's list, the longest day

« on: November 16, 2010, 02:58:55 am »
The kind of "cutscene" I like is no cutscene at all. I prefer just having fast scrolling text so you can learn what the game is telling you, but you don't have to watch boring crap about legends of hyrule or some else useless like that
