How about 12 minutes for day and 12 for night? So, 24 min = 24 hours.

You could further split that to make dawn, noon, and afternoon/evening.

Hey, Tetris kicked all butt. O_O Dude... I'm STILL playing Tetris! O_O

And... I laughed alot through RE4 (until my memory card decided to kick me in the pants and reformat itself)... I dunno... I never played the previous RE's (until recently, found out they weren't my style) but I did feel the survival adrenaline rush at times...

Dude... The original LoZ was groundbreaking for its time. >_> And it's still a good game...

And... heh, RE4 was really good... So, if OoT MUST be number 1, then I guess the second place is well put. :P

I agree, I don't even play it anymore. It's just not fun playing a game and it's remakes 20 times. I'd play WW all day though, just for the Tingle Tuner.

ROFLMAO at the Tingle Tuner! I'll occasionally play WW with my sister. Since I'm a better Link than she is, she gets to be Tingle! XD And she has fun wasting my rupees... >_>

And OoT has had only one remake and it was actually just a "hard-type" version. The original has been ported to the Gamecube twice and put up for the Wii (I believe). That's, of course, not counting the PC (and PSP) emulation.

you can use the engine to make a game, but you can't use any of the maps (cause these maps are on my fan game on this).

:D I might use it then, if I ever get an itching to make a Zelda game! (BTW, I believe you made a typo. I put it in bold, so you'd know what it is...)

There was only one problem I found with the demo: Days pass by in the blink of an eye... And to me, nights seemed to take an eternity to pass. D:

I absolutely love the rolling and the title screen! :D

I dunno, but I enjoy and keep enjoying the old, NES Zelda. O_O And I played OoT first, too, so I'm not being nostalgic or whatever. Don't get me wrong, though; I loved OoT. But once I beat it... That was it. :/

(And, had WW not had that little portion where you had to look for the Triforce by

[/b], WW would've been on my top list, too.

I did have a feeling it was going to come out October-ish... :P I've been playing Windwaker and Minish Cap to keep me from further spoiling myself. O_O Not like it's working, since I just played again yester-night... Got into the Phantom Ship... O_o

BTW, I just found out that the game seems to have controls for both Right and Left-handed people. My first file was, I believe, "right-handed". I just tried out the the "Left-handed" controls... Somehow, I feel better with the right-handed controls. O_O (I'm left-handed).

So long as the series doesn't end up being Link versus Stormtroopers, I think a future Zelda might a swell idea.

So...

star wars+ zelda=good? o_0

Yes but no. :D

I dunno why, but I feel as if the clock's kinda intrusive.

Wait, I think I do now... In the GB games, all the status info was on a pale bar on the top (or bottom, in LA's case). What do you think about putting the info in bars? The only thing is that the hud will transform into LA's rather than MM's... :/

Either way, just a suggestion- Good luck with your project! :D If you need sprites, I've found a few sites with custom GB sprites, if you want to see them...

real nice ! , i looked threw , and i think you should comment more in your code. it makes it more organized , im a orgnanized freak :P

That's a problem I usually have... D: I barely comment on my own code!

Dlbrooks... Is it ok to use your engine? As in, taking off your sample maps and use it to make your own Zelda game? Of course, crediting you for the engine!

Well... I dunno about the forum's rules (I didn't read them... but they should be the same as in every other forum). I mean real world legal. O_O I'd hate to be fined a million dollars for just spoiling myself... And I'd hate for authorities to recognize the flashcarts and the sites and whatnot.

(I know, I'm paranoid! :P)

LOL, I always imagined a future version XD

Might be a cool twist.
But I would do it in the Final Fantasy 7/8/9 style, very modern technology, but still in a medieval setting.

Same as me. I've always been thinking "What would the future of Hyrule look like? Would there still be a Link?"

:P

Hey, Luke! Just joined! XD

I think it's a bad idea to talk about flashcarts so openly... Remember... Roms aren't legal. :(

...I know... I'm a hypocrite. >_> Anyhow... THIS GAME PWNZ! I just beat the third dungeon yesterday... And I stopped spoiling myself. I'm gonna wait for the English release and buy it then! :3
