The Story: Tam Tam comes from PaoPao Plains, where peace usually reigns. One day Tam Tam was listening to his favorite jam on his headphones, when the music started to vanish! First the Lyric, then the Melody, then the Harmony, and finally the Beat. Tam Tam walked out of his house and looked around. As he did, he saw other moles from the village leaving their homes in confusion as well. They all had lost their music.
At that time Nok Nok, the moles' prophet, emerged.
"Did everyone elses music stop? Cuz mine did!"
The moles confirmed this, and with a short pause, Nok Nok said:
"Alright then. According to my prophecies, when the music stops it can only mean that the Tune Bugs have been captured. Without them around, there will be no music again. Ever!"
The moles murmured in distress, until Nok Nok spoke again:
"Wait! There is still hope. If someone were to free the Tune Bugs, music would flow freely again!"
The villagers looked around nervously to see if anyone would take on the challenge. Then Tam Tam stepped forward.
"I'll do it! Just tell me where to go!"

Not bad. Especially since I came up with half the story and I drew the original Tam Tam for modeling.

Needs shorter legs and Tune bugs are weird, otherwise nifty-difty. Music-related stories ftw.

That should be his theme.. I've gotta compliment you regarding the originality, I don't think I've seen music-related characters around yet.
I can't promise that I'll give you my vote yet, since I've got a character of my own to enter :P and I'm clueless as to how solid your competition will be.

I've gotta say, he looks really nice, and the sig is aweseome looking. Good luck (expect to have your ass kicked by me again :P)
EDIT: As nice looking as it is, the story is kinda weak.

Yeah, it's 3D. I turned off shading because it looked more cartoony that way. Limey, how is the story weak?

Duuuude! I wish there was a game were there was no shading... except things had outlines. Thick, sharp outlines.
A game with this kind of style(With outlines) would be amazing!

If only I had brought his .blend file on vacation with me. Then I could make all sorts of cool stuff like new poses, and animations and stuff. I'll have to save it for when I get back in two weeks, if Tam Tam is still in it by then.

It sounds like you were, at first, trying to be funny, but then you broke a blood vessel and decided to try to be witty. I'm not trying to be negitive, but, to tell the truth, I don't like your character. He does have a weak story that does sound made up, and that's pretty much compensation for your mediocre blender skills. I could of flamed your character to no end, but I brought out what I thought was weak about him and thought if you fixed it, you might get more votes. Lemme just say one thing; if you're going to win this competition work on the attitude. After all, you're trying to please me, and other fellow ZFGCers. If you can't take our advice, no matter how small or stuck up it sounds, as long as it's real, you gotta try to work on it, or have a good reason not to. If not, that could cost votes.

First round will take 16 days, and the competition is probably not going to start before Saturday at least. So there's a good chance he hasn't played its match yet then. And if it is in the "critical period", pm Hoffy and I'm sure he'll be happy to delay your match.

Okay, first of all Sonic looks NOTHING like a hedge hog. He looks more like a porcupine if you ask me :-\. Secondly, the story is supposed to be made up. Tam Tam isn't going to be the governator or something and try to save the world from bad legislation by filing out piles and pile of papers... he's going to be a hero! A hero who saves the world from not having music. Music is very important after all!
The thing is, making a character shoudn't be about pleasing you, or any other people on Zfgc. It should be about fun! You don't like Tam Tam, then don't vote for Tam Tam*coughvoteforTorpidMancough*.

But for real, back on topic. If anyone can give real reasonable constructive criticism, I'll obviously follow it (i.e, I'm going to make the legs shorter), so lets get to discussion. On another note, two people now have said that my story is weak and not one person has told me why. Care to fill me in?
Edit: I reworked and reworded the story a bit. Tell me what you think!

He means accusing people of stealing things. Tom Snare looks pretty hawt in the website but Moles win. Just check out my name. Moldorma means Mold, Moldrill means Mole.

TRD: Get over it. Tam Tam is nothing like Tom Tom over there.
Lunar: He'll look more like a mole when I add a nose and claws. I don't have the .blend file with me on my two-week vacation though, so oh wells for now. :)

... Everyone pointing out how things are copying things REALLY need to get their eyes checked. The only thing they really have in common is the headphones. And everyone who has an mp3 player has head phones.
You might think your cool for pointing out how something looks like something if you completely changed the design of the character that looks nothing like it, but to me it just makes me feel that theres more and more people in the world filling everything with epic phail.

I started from complete scratch, taking everybody's advice. He now has Shorts, Claws, a Nose, and a some things are now fixed that you couldn't see, but were glaringly wrong with the model from other views. Also, now Tam Tam is fully rigged for animation, as he was not before. Sig banner update coming soon. XD

No offense man, but I think the old version is MUCH better than this new one. The color is ugly in this new one, the claws look bad... I don't mean to diss your character though, I really loved the old version :)

Old banner gotten-riddenced. ;) 4 new banners in place, three of which have slogans, two of which are really funny, and one of which are catchy. Guess which ones I think are which! :P
