How do I make random walking?

I am working on my game Wondertastic 2 when I ran into a problem. I want the people you have to click on to move around. But I want them to do sort of what the Nintendo Wii's Mii's do: Walk around randomly minding there own buisness. How do I make something do this in Flash. I really would appreciate the help. Thanks.
