I didn't like it much. It was too much like just walking as link, not at all like riding epona.

It was really good for what it was, but wasn't much of an epona engine for me.

i think you wanted small orange things in it?

I will be honest - it isn't a "good" engine unless it has no glitches. So before you release anything new, make sure all bugs are removed.

hmmm... mabey you could make a combat engine but there should be some credit to me because it is an idea for my game loz : soul blade. heres what it could include:
simple slashing of the sword with Z,
holding X before quickly pressing Z will gather magical energy (small spoiler for my game : in my game it will be souls) and release a bolt of magic (or a fireball or whatever..),
after you have slashed once, press Z simultaneusly (sorry about the bad spelling) to perform a three strike combo,
slash and hold Z then release for the spin attack,
tap X to perform a magic attack (unblockable)
well its only afew ideas and i dont expect you will be able to do most of them but if you do anyone who uses the idea MUST credit me because they were going to be for my game (not stuff like slashing and spin though lol) but uh yeah you can use it as long as you give credit

Darksoul:
You can't just say: "I have thought of all these ideas for my game, no-one else could have thought of them, so they are mine, and only mine" Because others can have that idea before you.
You're saying that he should give credit to you? Wait. You're the only one who is going to need this the exact way it is, and so you haven't been able to do it, I don't know why. Maybe you're lazy, or made a bad code. And because of that you say that you should have credit in a tutorial for you? It's like me going up to TRM and saying "I needed a save engine like yours so you have to give me credit" I mean, if he was going to make a combat tutorial he would make one for Zelda games, with Zelda defaults like item switching, sword spin, maybe targeting, you get the picture!

:( ok fine. i didnt want him to make that engine for me seriously, i prefer to make my own codes up. anyway i thought it was relevent to ask for credit if 'other' people used it because some of the ideas i have are unique to that engine/game or whatever. and by combat engine i meant for a game going into all aspects of fighting (like ranged or melee). anyway sorry if my previous post irritated you.  :-[
