If I was you I would save long enough to get a Wii because you can play every GC game on it. And you will be able to play the future games from Nintendo. Also you've the virtual console, Internet channel, Mii channel, News channel, Vote channel, Photo channel, and there will come allot more channels.

Get a Wii. I play mine every day, over and over, it pwns, it OWNS MY LIFE O_O.

Oh, and it has GCN backwards compatibility, and DS-connectivity o_o.

Seriously, Wii is the way to go. There may not be good games out for it right now, BUT THERE WILL BE. You're wasting 70 dollars for a cube when you could spend 250 for what is essentially a Wii AND a GCube. Animal Crossing Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, SSB: Brawl, Metroid, Super Paper Mario, Smooth Moves, etc...even if you don't like those games, there will be games coming put that you will like and if you only bought a cube, you'll regret not buying a Wii, which is essentially a Wii and a Cube.
