So I saw Transformers yesterday...

...hardcore nerd movie.  If you don't have a girlfriend, if you live with your mom, and if you're somewhere between the ages of 11-25 you'll love this movie.

I didn't care for it so much.  (On a side note, I always get irked at the objectification of women, and the vulgar humor was EXTREMELY nerdy.)

The robot fighting was cool, but if this was an hour shorter, I would have been much happier.  And the climax was really boring.

I'll definitely go see it, as I've been watching Transformers since I was a wee little boy, and I love them...I love the sound when they transform D:

I didn't really care for it. I mean the action scenes were amazing (and the CGI...dear God!), and occasionally the humor was funny, but the nerd friends I saw it with who grew up watching the show whereas I didn't were able to appreciate it more. They claimed it fit in with the cheesiness of the 80s cartoon.

You know what I did like though? That JJ Abrams trailer! zOMG?!

Heh... I fit all 3 of those qualifications. I saw it yesterday too, at like 9. It was freakin' amazing! Seriously, how could anyone not like that movie? Though I didn't most of the parts that were supposed to be funny, funny.

I just wanted to see it for the action. And special effects! The special effects were just... just really amazing!

i live with my grandmother and i'm going to watch it with girlfriend next week lol. the only qualification i have is i'm between 11-25.

The movie was awesome! I loved it. It was confusing to watch tho. To much going on can't keep track of one thing.

Also the girl in the movie was hawt.

When my mom saw the commercials for it she was all "OMFG, this is retarded" <.< haven't seen it and i doubt i will.

Well that's just petty of you to say Possum. Transformers was no more a nerd movie than say Pirates or Spiderman, or really any other summer blockbuster.

Except I liked this more than those film because it actually really caught the feel of the source material. Face it, the Transformers cartoons were always goofy and I was half expecting Bay to turn this movie into a serious and dark epic, thankfully that wasn't the case.

I honestly didn't expect them to shout out their cheesy lines (I don't want a piece of you, I want TWO!) or act like goofs, but they did, and it gave the movie a certain personality that no other action blockbuster in a long time has had.

So call me a nerd for liking the movie, but it was sweet.
