Yep, for the N64... I recently picked it up again, because of Project64 1.6 (it plays beautifully with some occasional pallette issues), and I love this game.

It's {size=1bajillionpt]UNARGUABLY[/size] the best racing game ever.

I love this game.  Anyone else here like it?

Download Project64-K.
---> http://pj64k.emulation64.com/files/Project64k_0_13.zip

2) Unzip it into a folder.

3) NEW! Go to http://*******.com/ and download the SSB ROM from there.

4) OMG secret nazi inexistant step 4!

5) Unzip the SSB zip, and put the file in <Project64-k folder>\roms\

6) Open up <Project64-k folder>\Project64k.exe (Make sure there's a K at the end!)

7) Go to File -> Choose Rom Directory, and choose <Project64-k folder>\roms\. SSBM should appear in the list.

8) Go to File -> Netplay. A list of servers should come up. But that's useless. Click on the "Waiting Games" tab at the top, and click Game name to organize by the name of the ROM.

9) At the bottom, put in a username.

10) Look for an SSB game currently playing, after organizing by game name. If there is, double-click it!

11) Wait for the host to start the game. Voila!

Copied from LL, so replace SSB with episode 1.

PWN!  Anyone want to play me at Episode I: Racer?

I haven't unlocked Sebulba yet, though (haven't had the time). :(

EDIT: Eck... now I just need to find out how to start my own server ;)

EDIT2: And I'd rather the person I play owns the game, and didn't just steal it off the net.  You gotta own it, THEN steal it :)

It's still stealing technically xD.

Having it doesn't give you the legal right to pirate it.

I picked it up for $2 at the local games store and felt like it was 1999 again. It's probably one of my favorite racing games, actually, especially with two players.

Dude, I wish I could do the online, but my PCs suck so much that I have to use 1964 for decent speed :P

And I have the N64 version of the game.  I've played the PC one, and it's like the same, even graphically O_o  Come on, I know the PC can look better than THAT back then, and not to mention it's MUCH easier because you can change how sharp you turn.  If you put it like double the default, you can make it around like SO many more turns while thrusting and very easily win.  I beat the PC version in 2 hours, but the N64 version took weeks.

I'm about 99% sure its not the rom. Its probably because you don't have the right video plugin, as the one the comes with pj64k doesn't display some things correctly in star wars episode 1 racer ... Id suggest finding a better one.
