Super Smash Brothers Brawl / ZFGC Tourney Final Match - Jon vs. Taku

Lucky for Jon and Taku, they got to see K.K. Slider perform for this match. This is the final match by the way so you will probably guess the winner by watching the match. We want to thank you for watching and hopefully look forward to another Brawl Tourney in the future.

The winner of the ZFGC Brawl Tourney is.... Jon (luigi)
I just want to congratulate luigi for winning the tourney and he played his heart out in that last match. In the Final Match, luigi was facing Taku. Great job guys!
Now, I want to talk about a couple of things. First off, I am aware that some of the matches couldn't be uploaded due to video difficulties for Regulust. Second, some matches didn't happen due to time issues and forfeiting. Next time, we need to avoid these problems. I'm sure if there is another tourney, we can try to improve some of the flaws that happened. We will try to inform people about their matches next time which was something we were going to do but never happened.
Now for tonight's match, it will be uploaded sometime tomorrow or Monday. The match sure is something to watch and there were some ups and downs for each player but don't worry.
I'd like to thank everyone who participated and the couple people who didn't make it to their first match. That's about it. Take it easy!

Feedback / New Rank Images

I got the idea when I saw the new online/offline buttons and the PM, E-mail, etc. buttons. I was thinking that the same thing could work for all the ranks including the staff ranks though I'm still not sure these changes are permanent. If they are, then I'll continue. Basically, it would work the same with the names and the sword but there wouldn't be mulitple swords. Here are the ranks below.
Brown Sword: Fairy, Picori, Deku, Kokiri
Green Sword: Goron, Zora, Hylian, Twili
Blue Sword: Oocca, Royal, Hero, Sage
Fierce Deity Sword: Deity
So, for the first four ranks, they'd have the brown sword and the rank name. Same goes with the others. For the admins, mods, developers, etc., they could include the coloured tunics from the current rank image for them. It's just an idea. If ZFGC is sticking with these changes, then the ranks should definitely change along with them. I like this idea. Lastly, I'm thinking it could go above the online/offline image but that's just me.

Feedback / Profile changes?

I was thinking that the profiles could use some spicing up maybe. To me, it looks kinda bland. I was thinking that you could add profile comments so people can leave little messages. I know IPB has this feature and I'm sure there is an application that could do that.
I was also thinking it could get a change to look more interesting rather than the way it looks now. Maybe a personal picture thing where you could add a pic of yourself, a friend list (basically, it shows your buddies, sorta like IPB), profile comments like a said earlier (doesn't add a post count btw). I dunno, that's all I can come up with. I know nobody would pay attention to this but seeing how everything else is getting changed up, why not the profiles?

Feedback / Mario Kart Tourney

I'm not sure though but I'm thinking there should eventually be a tourney for Mario Kart Wii. It does seem a little hard to organize but the great thing is that there is no lag. I'm guessing we'd have 4-player matches. I'm thinking that we wouldn't record the races but rather keep track of who comes in first and possibly record the track times somewhere.
If not, we could go with Ghosts. Basically, someone has to reach a certain time in Time Trial and then send the ghost to somebody who has a capture card or video camera and record the time for the ghost or something. I dunno. Just an idea you know.

Entertainment / Donkey Kong 64 - Crystal Caves Slide Glitch

I found this glitch when I was playing through the game last week. Basically, you do the Super Simian Slam (or Super Duper Simian Slam) before you get down the first slide and you'll still be doing Lanky's barrel move. It's easy to perform, doesn't help in anyway but it's fun to try. The video isn't the greatest or worst quality but it's something.

Well, this is basically a comment or a notice just to let you know. I've put up a page on the Wiki called "ZFGC Friend Codes". I guess instead of posting in the Friend Code topic, you can post it on the Wiki page. I just thought it would be an easier way of managing them so we don't have to wait to get a Friend Code put up on the topic on the forum.

Yeah, Nintendo is making Paper Mario on the DS. I think it's supposed to be a port of the original on the N64. I doubt it will be a new adventure though. I spotted this on Zentendo about 20 minutes ago.
