Entertainment / Re: Beat PH (no spoils)

Beat it like a week ago, yes it is awesome. They could have made it a bit more difficult though, but I just loved the cutscenes, some are really funny! As for the music, I must say it doesn't get any better, apart from a couple of tunes.
I have to say, it must be the best handheld Zelda game ever made, and is more or less at the same level than A Link to the Past.

Awesome! I'm still waiting for the text files, to start translation as soon as possible! Keep it up!

Is there a possibility for you to release two different packages? One containing the sources (the .flp files), and one containing the outputs (in .ogg format, since it's open-source).

I really can't wait for the demo, keep up the good work!

That is great news Gorth! You should release that .txt file to translators as soon as it's ready so that on launch day you'll have the game ready to be played by the whole world!

Well I would love to start translating right now, the thing is, Djipi hasn't given me any text file to work from.

The only thing I would have to point out though, is that there is no Quidditch match whatsoever, and that's the only serious lack this book had.

Feedback / Re: Z3
« on: July 29, 2007, 03:08:48 pm »
Guys, stop talking about it, and actually do something. If I were in charge, I would make it happen at the end of August, 27th to 31st, that would set a date and end the discussion. Developers have been warned about z3 long enough, and I'm certain they're all just waiting for the show And please, for the sake of it, it's z3 not Z3.

Guys what you don't seem to understand is that, sadly, the French game making community is in *love* with RPGMaker, and it's very hard to convince them that Game Maker has a lot more potential! (I even had an argue once, and the guy actually thought you could make a 3D game with RPGMaker!!) I sincerely hope Djipi will make the step forward and show the French community how things need to be done.

Discussion / Re: Game Maker for Mac?
« on: July 29, 2007, 02:57:18 pm »
Well, Helios was working on RGD (check my sig, although I'm gonna remove it since it's outdated stuff), which was a Game Maker-like application except much better AND cross-platform compatible. Too bad though, so yeah, I suggest you try out unity3D or learn real programming languages.

54
Well King Mob, we can't really provide any good feedback if you don't give us a demo to try out :P Seriously, I don't think you should mind z3, if it hasn't happened today, it won't happen tomorrow. The earlier you release the demo, the earlier you'll have feedback and the faster you will be done with your game. It all depends on how you schedule the whole thing.

BTW, I would love to see what the Shadowgazer looks like!

Kren, I think that what happened then, is that he was protected by his mum's love, OR it's the explanation Dumbledore provides when he says Harry's wand is uberly-powerful but only against Voldemort, and that's why Hermione managed to break it.

Aha! So you finally decided to show up here! Well as I've said previously on the french Solarus forums, you should really try to improve the gameplay of your game, and RPGMaker XP just won't do it. As .TakaM suggested, switch over to Game Maker (at the very least) and get help from some of the coders around here.

I will also re ask you this, would you like me to translate the game in English?

Keep up the good work!

Well then, why is it there if it's supposed to be dead? It's very odd me thinks, and Dumbledore saying "It can't be help.", WTF did he mean by that?

Well, I have a question, although it might be me not understanding something correctly :

What is that little monster/guy inside Harry's head when's he unconscious and finds himself inside a white version of King's Cross station with Dumbledore?

This is the game that made my day! I was waiting for someone to make a Smash Bros in 2D! Great work Drewdelz!

Awesome Gorth! Can't wait to finish the game I never played on the NES, on my phone! On another note, have you thought about the easy-to-translate text input? There are some French fans out there that just can't wait to play the game, but understand it too!
