Bludleeft, that's For the Benefit of Mr. Kite! You were talking about.

I'm also a Beatles trivia person, though my favorite fact is what "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?" means. XD  (Wikipedia shall tell you)

Join the club ^_^

I may be younger, but I wholly agree.  Sgt. Pepper's is the greatest album I've ever listened to, followed by Abbey Road, Revolver, and Magical Mystery Tour.  Some part of their musical talent is extremely likable.  You really should listen the Sgt. Pepper's, being one of the most influential albums ever (and some say the most)  One downside to it is that modern music now seems very inferior after listenening to all their albums 20 plus times over.

Glad you like em, and have fun. :)

Yow, that hurt.  But yeah, really really high.  The one at the end of A Day in the Life is higher and I can hear it.

Discussion / Re: Open Source .vs. Closed Source
« on: April 19, 2007, 12:30:22 am »
Open-source just because I can use it for my own software (bits and peices or just to see how it's done) but closed source because It makes me think HOW it's done without being told.  Closed source applications also (sometimes) feel more stable.

Coding / Re: Shooting Problem in Multimedia Fusion
« on: April 19, 2007, 12:23:36 am »
The use of shooting an object is a bit restricting.  It doesn't allow you to do much to the shot object.

I suggest adding to the x/y coordinate after being shot and making a simple negated "If arrow is overlapping wall" thing to the movement condition
Less objects the better btw.  Use as many custom movements as you can, too.

No way am I making a forum application.  They are extremely boring to write (I've attempted one and got bored in minnutes)  and it'll be half-closed source (I'll release some code snippets) written in ruby on rails.

In other words, smf is a fine peice of forum software and I won't compete (Though I'll make a quick one for comments)

I've already decided on what to make (IndieProjects) and I'm not changing. ;)

I'd seriously like the ignore boards feature to be reimplemented.

Thanks.

Well, the layout gets a 6 for me.  Spice it up with some shades of grey and light borders.

Also, add a title to each page (Actually ON the page) and check your spelling.

I'd love to be a game designer.  I've emailed you about it.  We'll talk on MSN.

Say, what about getting paid?  Will we?

You can make a boot disk in Windows - insert a floppy disk, right click on it in windows, choose format. There should be an option to make an ms-dos boot disk.

A little difficult if you have a floppyless laptop, though, but you can make msdos-booting-CDs. I just can't remember how.

Although to my knowledge though, the windows XP CD forces you to reformat when you install it anyway.
Yeah, the Windows XP disk will allow you to erase it and reformat during the installation.

Freaking huge bump. XD  (I didn't do it >_> I blame BM)

Anyway, I'm going with IndieProjects.com

Yes, sol, it'll be reformatted this weekend.  I'm going to make my own custom little VHCS just to make managing it a little easier and customized.

Might I add, the most important part of planning is this:

If you can't explain your project in ten seconds, you're not making a project.

Get you entire explanation on paper and memorized.   Tell it to people in person and online.  You'll have a concrete idea of what your doing then.

(Mods:  No clue where to put this.  It's not "help" but I don't think it quite fits development.)

I've been wonder, since the users are going to use the application, why not ask what they want?  I'm not going to do paint or photoshop online, but I'm open to suggestions.

Any ideas at all?

How many religions have there been in the history of the world?  If every human died except two (boy and girl) who knew nothing of religion, would Christianity come up?

NO.

The idea of god obviously would, though but what will be the same?  Science, because it can be proven.  They'll discover cells (different name of course :P) and atoms and uranium and Mars and the Moon.

I am a proud, radical atheist.

Dad's a phycologist that deals with this type of thing.  Never will, ever.  It's one of the worst things you can do and really only shows insecurity.  If one of my friends ever begins smoking, they're not getting support from me.

The only reason you do that is because you're used to Windows.  You can't expect every OS to use the horrid interface of XP, can you?
