Saboteur impressions?

I got it as a Christmas present this year, and I just started playing last night. I wasn't actually going to pick this one up because of the generally mild review scores I've seen. Having played it now I can say it's pretty awesome. It's like GTA in a lot of ways, only set in World War 2. I think that's pretty cool. Unoriginal maybe, but it sure is a lot more fun at the moment than replaying GTA IV. I even enjoy listening to the radio when I'm driving around due to the old-fashioned soundtrack. So the Saboteur just made me trust game critics less than I already did! ;)

I'm gonna be picking this up soon as it interests me. It looks really good in all honesty. Love the fact the main characters irish aswell :3

like i said, and like yahtzee said. it borrows heavily from other games. but i disagree with ben on this one. i feel it most definitely has an identity of it's own. it's nothing groundbreaking but at least i can't beat the campaign in a single day (i'm looking at you modern warfare 2).

Who cares about length?  The gameplay itself is sloppy and boring, and while it's got some nice ideas, it executes them all lazily.
