When I try to raise a user's karma

It gives me the page where it says "Karma Change, Applause" and "Reason for change". There is the text field next to that where I type the reason, and it worked for me just a few weeks ago. Right now though I can't actually click in the type field and write anything, nor can I hit submit. I tried it with negative karma and on different users as well.

I can click on the text field and write on it. What browser are you using and what version?

It doesn't seem to be working for me in either Chrome or Firefox.

Give me a little bit to get home and I'll take a look tos ee what I can do. I'm on Chrome and it worked just a few days ago to my knowledge.

EDIT: This may not make the slightest difference but just out of curiosity, what theme are you two on?

EDIT #2: Can't seem to reproduce on Windows versions of Firefox 11 and Chrome 18(latest). IE9 doesn't seem to reproduce the error either. Tried on a touch interface and it worked fine... I'll test on the Linux versions of Chrome/Firefox later on today. Don't see why this would happen, though.

Haha, no interest in that to be honest. ::)
I'm on the light green theme, I forget the name.. I'm on Chrome as well if that has something to do with it.

Well it's most likely browser specific.. can't imagine the themes being far too different to produce odd bugs like this. I just ruled out touch input on Android phones for being the cause, so it's time to rule out other versions. Hopefully I can reproduce it.

That being said, my suggestion to you is to refresh like crazy on the karma description page and then try doing an entry. Maybe something with your cache is causing an element to overlap the text box. Who knows. I doubt it, though. It's interesting that only you and Mitsu can reproduce it. That being said, what OS are you on? And can you double check to make sure your browsers are up to date?

I'm on Ubuntu.  I know Chrome is up to date but Firefox probably isn't.

I think themes might be more important than browsers in this case.. could be an CSS bug or something?

The themes aside from color and minor padding differences are all the same, V for Vash. ;) Though I still tested on all themes just as a precautionary measure.

Ok, I got it. Thanks for reporting! There was an element covering the text input field after all. Give me like a minute to fix.

Still happening, refreshing does not work. The ad isn't covering the text field anymore, but it still just won't let me type in the reason for karma change, meaning I can't submit still like before. Good luck staff, I admire your persistant programming prowess :D

Alright I think I got it this time. Let me know if it's fixed for you. If it is, then I'll apply the changes to all of the themes.

Sweet! Marking this as resolved. Applied to all of the themes, too. The problem was in the adsense code generator, it threw in some unneeded extra stuff creating elements below the ad that were invisible. Can you believe that? lol.
