Seriously, I can be taking a !@#$% while reading about taking shits on wikipedia.
Infact im posting this via my bathroom right now. I highly recommend this, dont listen to the stupid house wives who wrote bad things about it due to their ignorance and not having been touched by their spouce in years.

Yes, ignore the PSP Web Browser that has a bigger, more comfortable screen and flash capabilities.

Psh, yeah right. Ds Browser sucks balls dude. Why would you wanna browser on a handheld when you could do it on the PC? Besides, porn doesn't even loads on the DS. At least not videos.

Okay, so you don't have a PSP, yet you know, somehow, that it disconnects that way? Well, I don't know where you got that info, but I could tell you that, no matter how low the signal is, the PSP will connect just a fine as the DS.

I've never tried the DS Browser, but the PSP browser is pure own.   From what I've heard, the DS browser is too slow, but I'd imagine it's comparable to the PSP's.  I was able to handle 56k all those years, so why wouldn't I be able to handle a slow connection on a handheld?  Either way, I think the concept of using the internets on the go is sweet. 

The main advantage the PSP has over the DS, IMO, is that the PSP browser is free, while the DS's is like $35 USD.  Like I said before, I've never used the Opera browser on the DS, but I've heard it's slower, (would anyone have expected anything different?), which I have no problem with.  It's not like I would even try going to YouTube or anything like that....a handheld browser is simply a convenience.  As you said, you can check out Wikipedia while taking a dump. XD

What's not to like?  Oh yeah, the price...now I remember.

It supports video files, just not pornography files.

Also, it'll get old eventually. There are advantages to having a web browser outside of a PC... I love the Internet Channel on my Wii, I use it during the commercials when I watch TV. It's also handy when my sister or brother is on the PC.

But I doubt I'll ever need to use the DS Web Browser.

I'm speaking from personal experience, as my friends PSP was unable to connect to a bunch of wifi hotspot becuase the signal was too weak, but my DS can stay connected even if it has no bars. Though I dont have any crappy articles from kotaku or anything to "prove" it...

And yes, if I had a PSP I would use it's browser and not have bought the DS's.

Meh. PSP browser is a lot worse. Even though the screen is bigger, the DS conveniently uses the second screen for zoomage, not to mention the fact that punching text into a PSP browser is tedious and agonizingly slow.
(This is what typing on the PSP sounds like)

I downloaded it and use it on my DS! It's not bad but not great either. But it does the job when you are at place with internet but no acces to a PC. Like MCdonalds for example.

No no n, PSP browser is alot BETTER then the DS browser, have they released a version of it for the phat DS yet?, or are Nintendo still only favouring people with Lites? I used it on Lite and hated it so damn much. Sticking to my PSPs browser for portable surfing.

I heard the DS webbroswer wasn't that great, but i also heard you can go on msn with it. best idea ever>.<. But i would never buy it.

Hyrule_Boy, how did you get it to work on your DS? You need to have a GBA memory card thing for the DS Browser to work...

And, the PSP browser is slow. At least, slower than my computer. And the guy who pointed out the typing thing- That's true. It'll take like a minute to type in "type". @_@

No kidding...They need some type of keyboard support.
Like a folding 4" by 3" keyboard that attaches to the mini usb port by cord or something
that is wireless...That would be sweet.
