Entertainment / Re: Zelda Timeline
« on: August 17, 2006, 06:08:22 pm »
okay these are the games (not the timeline):
loz
aol
lttp
la
oot
mm
oos
ooa
fs
ww
mc
fsa
tp
ph

now since the four swords and minish cap don't fit in (like mr.miyamoto said). I will take them out, I will also take out tp because the game hasn't come out and might have some tricks up its sleeves (timeline-wise). I'll leave in ph, just because its confirmed to be right after wind waker.

so here is the new one:
loz
aol
lttp
la
oot
mm
oos
ooa
ww
ph

and the four swords time-line is:
mc
fs
fsa

not confirmed (yet):
tp

okay, now we know that ww and ph are together, same with oos and ooa, and oot and mm, and loz and aol. so here we go now.

loz--aol
lttp
la
oot--mm
oos-ooa
ww--ph

now, here is the tricky part, where to put them. We know that oot is the first in the series, because it introduces that ganondorf turns to ganon, the history of the triforce and the master sword and ganon being sealed away. Because MM involves the same link, that comes directly afterward.

so far:
oot
mm

okay, so now, what I think happens is that ganon is sealed away in the sacred realm. Link is long dead. Agahnim breaks him out and the game starts. When link defeats ganon, finally, he approaches hyrule castle and the triforce warps him to labyrina and holodrum. He beats them and they plan to bring back ganon from the dead, but can't bring back his mind and all he is, is a crazed killing machine. Link beats him and sails away from hyrule for search of more adventures. His ship gets in a terrible storm and he has the dream of la. so, so far this is it.

so far:
oot
mm
lttp
ooa
oos
la

Now because link is out sailing, ganon comes back to life some how (maybe tp will explain?) and the goddesses flood hyrule. WW happens and all that jazz. Link and tetra sail to a new land, and that becomes their land in ph, along the way it gets named hyrule.

so far:
oot
mm
lttp
ooa
oos
la
ww
ph

and then thousands of years later, ganon becomes resserected, or maybe a completely new incarnation of him, and he steals the triforce of power from hyrule castle, this is loz. He kills ganon at the end. aol follows this where they are trying to bring him back to life, but it doesn't happen.

So this is my fool-proof timeline:

oot
mm
lttp
ooa
oos
la
ww
ph
loz
aol

hope you enjoyed it!

All I can say this this:
"THEY IS A SOUND CONTROL ON THE DS YOU KNOW!"
All I can say this this:
"huh?"

hmm...fangames take a lot of energy but I guess it is there job to be critical...I don't know, if it was my game, I would be peeved at them. It looked like pretty good quality.

umm you can name the horse whatever but the demo horse was automatically named epona from the start. just to make less time to put in a name and epona was the most obvious chose for a horse name.

LTTP & FSA / [LTTP] Link, Link using Hammer
« on: July 19, 2006, 03:08:41 am »
hello i would really like the sprites of link using the magic hammer in lttp in all four directions. both link and the hammer pleeease.

these sprites are more elusive than george bush in a disaster zone.

[jokes aside, i really need this.]

« on: June 29, 2006, 04:47:44 pm »
yah that was a scary game...when i first played it, it was much less challenging than oot was. although i was only 6 when i got ocarina of time...it came out pretty late in the n64s life span, right???

I thought the dungeons were much better than oot's, but there was too few.

I will tell you why none of these choices were done wrong. I love the game to death:

The owl was a fun, cool guy who teaches you stuff in the beginning of the game. I loved how when he went upside down, he looked like he had a moustache :D

Sheik turning to zelda. shocking and awesome.

sun glare? just an added effect...it doesn't even effect gameplay...

The dialog is smart and really greatly written!

the spirit temple was my favorite temple! they should have had more switching!!!!

thats how i disprove those complaints!
