Cool, there are some good games there.  I have to be honest though.  I have been waiting for a handheld smash bros since the release of the DS.  I can not wait for that to come out!   XD

I don't know why you think Skyward Sword was a disappointment, considering there is a huge consensus that it's one of the best Zelda games, up there with ALTTP and OoT but w/e

I think it was disappointing too.  Personally I think Twilight Princess was the best by a long shot followed by OOT and then WW and somewhere down the line SS.  I read that a lot of people didn't like it, but I cannot imagine why.  People say its story in TP was weak, or other ridiculous things like that.  As far as I am concerned it was by far the best developed, and best looking Zelda game of all time...  Absolute perfection!  But that might not be a popular opinion around here...  Not sure really.   :-\

Sweet.  Looks really good.  My only complaint about Wind Waker was the amount of time it took to sail everywhere.  I hope they speed that up somehow in this, then I will be very happy.

Hm...  This sounds fun.  I'd like to try.  I'll probably just have to do a sketch as I do not have any nice art programs.  Sounds fun.

I think somebody here should take on the task of collecting collections...  It doesn't matter what it is...  As long as it is somebody's collection it must be collected in order to complete your collection of collections.  Think of all the stuff you could have in a short period of time!  ;)

The Metroid category is looking a little slim...  I miss Project AM2R...

Great work.  That looks really slick!  I love how you can manipulate the text in the middle of a string of words!

I had a little time to kill so I decided to update the Lens of Truth.  In most ZFGs I have seen the Lens of Truth reveals everything in the view.  In the Original OOT however, you might recall that only the portion of objects that are seen through the center of the screen (where the lens actually is) is made visible, or invisible as the case might be.  So having played around with surfaces for a bit I managed to recreate that effect.

So now when you use the Lens of Truth the view portion of the lens starts in the middle of the screen and then you can press your up,down, left, right keys to scan the room for secrets.  As you can see in the screen shot the secret passage at the bottom of the screen is slightly faded out because that is where the edge of the lens was when I took the snap shot.  It took a bit of work to get it working, but I am pretty happy with it.

Wow.  Can't believe I didn't see this until now.  That looks really nice!  Well improved, though I might suggest keeping the skin tone a little more tan like it is in the first pic.  Just an opinion though...

I am glad to hear that you are doing okay xdrumsx89.  I didn't know you lived on Long Island.  Was anybody that you know hurt?  Also, has anybody heard anything from MG since the storm?  I am guessing his power is out?.?

Hm...  If I were to follow everybody else's standard here I would say that the weather in central America has not been bad, but as that has nothing to do with Hurricane Sandy I shall refrain... Oh wait... crap!

Well actually I don't have very easy access to the news at the moment (apart from looking it up on the internet) what I have seen so far has been interesting.  Apparently it is very strange to have a Hurricane like this hit at this time of year.  I never did hear what the official death toll was or if it has been determined, but last I heard it was something like 33 which is sad.  From what I read it seems like it was a needless waste of lives as many people simply refused to evacuate even though the order was given.  I also read that there was somewhere around 50 deaths in Haiti.  I have never lived on the coast so I don't know what it is like to go through a hurricane, but I did go through a Tornado once back in 2001 (or sometime around then).  Hopefully they are able to get power back quickly though.  Sounds like there was a great deal of damage done.

Yes yes yes!  I am getting excited for this too!  and I definitely agree that we need brackets...  and a bracket for the most voted for losers to compete in (By most voted for losers I don't mean the most losery of the losers, but rather the losers who almost won but didn't) = )

Wow, this is surprisingly good!  I have never followed Halo either (don't really play many shooters), but this is interesting.  I will be following this now.  Thanks for posting it.

That new Zero vid looks really good man!  Keep it up!  My only critique is that the wall jumping looks a little choppy to me, but it could be lag in the video too.  Also as per personal preference I would get rid of the voice sound effects that go along with the sword slashing.  I don't know if it is just that it seems a little too overpowering with the voice or that it doesn't seem to fit quite right to me, but the voice doesn't quite fit with the voice that is used when he dies either.  Like I said though, that is more just a personal preference thing really.  I am really looking forward to seeing more!  Are those the same voice sound effects that the original uses?

Ha ha.  So it was already decided that it is not so big a deal to have the site say we have 1000 registered users, but I just thought I would mention that we are standing at 997 as of now.  Woot!  It took approximately 3 months to get here from the 80 or so we had when I started this topic.  How long must I wait for the next 3.   :-*
