I'm really sorry, but just because Yoyogames is aiming on becoming a publisher doesn't increase your chances of going commercial. For one, you're game is based on an IP of Nintendo, and you have to remember there are hundreds of thousands of GM users out there who (no offense, because I'm in your boat... and it's a nice boat) are probably better at game development. As mammy stated, most people who sign onto teams who are "commercial" expect some form of "inspiration". Your best bet is to stay independent for now, and build up a reputation for yourself as a competent programmer, and see if you can't find some people willing to take a chance with you. You'll get a team together and maybe come up with the next big thing, THEN you take it to Yoyogames if you're still using GM.
