Are you serious? You Americans seem to have confused yourselves with your own system.
So you understand pounds, but not stones? It's fourteen pounds to a stone, that's the way the imperial system works - you're the ones using it. o_O
And what's the deal with fluid oz and cups?
Seriously, it's like you took the imperial system and somehow made it less logical.
We use it for just about everything, excluding miles for distance.

having a measurement for 16 pounds is just odd o.O I mean I could understand how that would tie in to 16 oz equaling a pound, but I dunno... 16 just doesnt go in to many numbers correctly.That's the whole point of the metric system - everything is a multiple of ten. Imperial is all about base 12, 14, 16, 60 and so on. Hence why we don't use it anymore.
