Its fangames like this that get me excited!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT OMFG I LOVE IT

only a few things I noticed from the demo,
When I pushed the block in the cave it did not have a sfx
In the area where you walk on the clouds (right below the green rupee area) I fell off the tiny moving cloud platform and the player re-spawned right on the ledge and kept falling off until I died, I could not break the loop he just kept falling off the ledge, re-spawn, fall again, re-spawn until death


overall everything is solid and feels damn near like a legit Zelda game, keep up the amazing work!

yeah one of my friends said that and we got in a heated debate, he finally bought the 360 copy because he didnt even own a ps3. so i won =P

So i got this at midnight launch (Xbox 360, collectors edition strat guide as well) Its pretty good so far, linear for awhile but apparently opens up a bit later in the game, although its linear it really works out for the story. graphics are good, this isnt me saying ZOMG BETTER THAN PS3 because facts wise its not lol. you can really tell the video is compressed if youre close to the screen and mainly during cutscenes. On my 23 in monitor i can notice it, on the 47 in DLP i cant. My roommate got the ps3 copy but i have yet to see it on our 47 in LCD.

Anyone else get this though, and some thoughts on it?

dude sorry but you cant make a game if you dont try, im a perfect example. so dont make bold statements then come in and ask for script then say you dont understand programming because youre too lazy.

Heart Gold + Soul Silver. WoW: Cataclysm. BM:O. Those are the one's I'm stoked about. Zelda Wii will probably make the list as soon as more info is revealed. Can't say you're going to change the formula and expect me to wait for it. If it doesn't change it too drastically, cool.
forgot about pokemon! wow not so much and i agree about zelda, once more info is released ill pass judgement

Facing left looks like Link should be falling backwards because his feet seem too far forward. Maybe move them back a pixel? Besides that, it's pretty good. A little too cute for me but, nonetheless, it is nice work.
agreed about the feet, maybe a pixel two or back. they wouldnt be too hard to sprite, animations would have to be somewhere between NES and SNES but itd be neat maybe for like a NES remake w/ custom gfxs

downloaded the demo trying it out in a second, the only thing ive noticed that really bugged me in the screens is the fact that you use roof tiles for sidewalks and such, it doesnt look right at all.

demo doesnt work on here, need to rtp maybe a download to that on here? not everyone has rmxp

I think I'll use OoA/S style saving graphics, I want to try and do a lot of the major features from all three GB games but overall with OoA/S style graphics/palettes.

- Create the entire story in Game Maker or RPG Maker as a 'movie' game which may not be playable to further get the game going and also find out what needs to stay, be added or even removed/modified.

def go rpg maker, its a lot easier and virtually no programming, just preset commands you could even roll with rm2k which is very outdated but the easiest to use and probably the fastest to flesh out your story if you go this route

or just story board it =P
