Some of you have played this, right?

How do I get to the Goron cave in Lon Lon Ranch? Every guide says to take the whirlwind from across the road and land on top of the cave, but said whirlwind doesn't lift me far enough.

Eh, can't remember, it's been so long. However, might there not be a second whirlwind you can use along the way? Or perhaps there's another ledge you can fly to, and then reach the cave from there.

Nah.. One guide said something about another whirlwind, but there isn't one, and I've done every kinfusion for the area. If there's some other platform then I am blind. :P

You sure you're not missing something? An item to use? Roc's Cape or something?

Uh, on one ledge right to the cave, there IS a whirlwind you can use. As far as I can remember, you have to land on the edge of the cave though, not trying to get over the hole...

Might be wrong though. I'm checking it now. D:

Edit: Made a shot with my dad's phone and drew the lines in in Photoshop.

At the flight (the transparent red line), close to the edge, Link will go up a little for some reason and you'll be on the ledge. It's somewhat tricky, but possible. Just believe that it works and you'll be fine. :)

Thanks Fox.. that's basically what I was doing...

So just keep trying different angles and it should work?

It's a little difficult to judge the line up for that glide sometimes... maybe try looking at the shadow, instead of Link?

Yeah, move up straight up left, then try to get as close over (right next to) the fence.

Here, I made a video, but I couldn't be bothered to upload it before. Also, it's 3GP-format, not sure if you can open it... use RealTimePlayer. (I recorded it from my dads phone who was playing WiiSports. The voices in the background say "What are you doing" and "Taking a video" in German. Our voices.)

Download

Look at Link and Link's shadow! His shadow stays at the same position at the end of the flight, but he's been lifted up.

lol, physics.
