Is there a built-in function in gamemaker or a dll that I can use to check if a process is open with the correct hash?

*Shrugs* I don't know about GM but there are plenty in the WinAPI - try wrapping it up in a dll and using it with GM.

Most task-manager-type DLLs are banned from the GMC, it's against the rules. However a lot of people have made them.

I requested one before and was warned by a Moderator.

See, this is stupid. GM can edit the registry (possibly malicious) but checking for processes is not available because it is "malicious"? How is checking for an EXE or DLL bad!?

Stupid Mark Overmars.

Game maker meets every definition that they have given for "malicious" so i don't really understand their reasoning. It can edit registry entries and write/copy files thus making it possible to make a virus or spyware program. Hell I made a keylogger for the heck of it to see if it was possible and it definately was.
