Intro
Well, with my decision to transfer all of my current projects to 3D, I have decided to spend some time working on the music for the different places in my planned games. I have also decided to showcase some of them here, to give you some idea of the sound of the games that I'm developing. So, without any further ado, here's what I've got. (More will be added as time goes by.)

Sounds very Zelda-ish... though the really deep piano thing seems a little too loud at some parts. Other than that, it sounds very 3d-ey.

 Sounds good but would probaly suite an opening better as it does not sound like a full, complete song. Every LOZ song has some sort of.... riff in the middle, a repeated corus that becomes legendary and is hummed in school classrooms throughout the ages.

 Take Gerudo Valley for example. In the middle, there is this cool duh duh duh duh (Hard to explain in text.) that makes you want to listen to the song again.

I take your point piers, and I'll see what I can do in that respect. Bear in mind, this is dungeon music and much like in OOT, MM, WW and TP; it's not supposed to be very melodic and is meant to loop incongruously in the background.

ASITD as a point. All the dungeon music in Majora's mask were basically sound effects and drums. There were some notes, but not many. Oot had the same thing, but it had more music to it.

And I think what Piers is talking about is reffered to as a Hook, like in songs with lyrics.

Yeah, that would be a hook. I don't tend to write those until the piece is actually put into the game, as they're quite simple to write. I'm not actually sure that this really needs one, but I'm going to see what I can do with it.

I don't think it needs one either, personally. Most dungeons in zelda games don't have a hook. Except WW... I remember the wind dungeon place having that cool steel guitar hook(Was that the hook? I can't remember...).

But WW was more playful and well... cell shaded. You could do that, I guess, if your making it cell shaded. But from the sound of the song, it sounds more dark and gloomy, like TP or OOT.
