Dunno if I'm allowed to only post so many projects at a time.  Delete my Deadly Enemies thread if you want, though I'm still (barely) working on that as well.  This seems more interesting to try to make.

Controls:
R - Restart or go to a checkpoint.
Space bar - Jump
Down arrow - Spindash
Enter - Pause

Basically it's like a two-dimensional Sonic and the Secret Rings in that you're pretty much always going foward, so you'll have to dodge and destroy lots of stuff.  I'll add a bit more stratedgy, though, and make more paths.  Perhaps add the Chaos Emeralds as well.

Story:
I had one in mind, but I decided it would be better if I just make the rest of the game first and then build the story around it.  I think it might just be a simple Sonic vs. Eggman sort of plot, except that Sonic is an ******* and it takes place in a world Eggman has already taken over.

Progress:
Engine - ?
Music - 100%
Sound effects - 99.9%
Enemies - 1.5%
Sprites/Tiles/BGs/etc. - ? (Most are placeholders but personally I like a few of them)
Cutscenes - 0% (May have to make them in paint if I can't find my sister's camera, or I may not bother anyway)

Graphics look meh but I very much appreciate that you're making them from scratch. Loops could really look more loop-like (even being 16-sided instead of 8-sided would be a huge improvement) and I hope the title screen gets an update before it's released. ;P

I'll check out the trailers later when I've got time.

Here are some Sonic sounds I recorded by request a long time ago. They're either from Sonic 2 or 3, can't remember, probably 2.

Good luck... ZFGC has a history of getting hostile towards people who start many projects at once without the knowledge or ability to complete any of them.. so I hope you get somewhere with at least one of your games.

Sorry guys.  I just don't have the time anymore for the CP.  Working two jobs and just having a couple hours to play my Wii and continue learning programming just is not leaving me free time to focus on the CP.  I feel that it's my obligation to step aside as Level Director.  It's just a time issue.  Since I am also a global mod that also takes some of my focus from the CP.  So, it's nothing against anybody or what not, I'm just out of time anymore it seems.  Sorry again.

why not issue everyone 5 opinion tokens for each year, if they voice their opinion without presenting a token- they can be legally murdered
Make sure every post you make is mature like these two (and there's many more). You just can't beat ZFGC's friendliness and maturity!

Thanks.  I may download the file that GoT uploaded if I make any objects that need more SFX, but for now it's fine.

As for sprites, you'll soon see that I've updated a few, but the movie is taking forever to get online.  Either way, I'd rather work on that and a few other things after I get the engine done.
