personally i'm enjoying the backlog of AAA games that have graced the 360 and PS3 such as Gears of War, Uncharted and Bioshock, playing them over at a friend's house.

soon he will be picking up Mass Effect, GTA4 (best game of all time), and MGS4. assuming that the wii drought continues throughout the rest of 2008 (as projected), I'll be playing Resistance 2, Haze, and our THE gears of war 2 and Persona 3.

so nice!

Uncharted <3

I'm coping very easily. I never intend to re-buy a wii :)

Which troll are you on NGG? I need to know because I want to ignore you on that website. No one in their right mind, be it a troll or fanboy, would say Wii is in a drought as of now.

In Spring 2007 was the Wii in a drought? Yes.

Now? No. Not even close.

Edit: Forgot 2007.

Playing Mario Kart Wii, gonna get No More Heroes afterwords, then get some more Virtual Console and Wii Ware games. Might eventually get GTAIV, not sure yet.

Why, what else is there to play now besides MK and Brawl? What, are you going to toss in some shovelware with that too?

I certainly wouldn't call it a flood.

Except for people who have other consoles :p

The Wii is a very barren system... A lot of shovelware and not enough good games :P

Well, for me anyway :s... I'm not a fan of party games really lol

My DS helps out with that problem, alot.
Later on when I've got my money from my summer job I'm thinking of buying Either a PS3/360 + TV. Or a new PC, and those will then help me out a bit. Unless the Wii has a shitload of games by then.

I really hope it explodes like the DS D;

Eh, I don't play games anyway. The Xbox 360 got really boring, it seems like the games I got for it get really boring after a while. Still enjoying Brawl with friends every once and a while though.

Mario Kart Wii is awesome. Nothing compared to Double Dash but its pretty decent. I still haven't seen a Wii game worth buying yet.

I got my Wii (just over a year ago) to play Gamecube games since I missed the entire last generation and half the one before it. Then pick up the occasional Wii game as years go by. No drought for me. Just got Twilight Princess a couple weeks ago.

Consoles aren't very cost-effective these days in all honesty, and there's just not as much innovation there as there used to be :(

I spend most of my time playing freeware PC games, The Orange Box, or older games via emulators (or piratans if they are for the PC.)

Really, with wiiware hopefully they'll be putting out some interesting games soon too I mean it's a whole new avenue for smaller developers (ones not so afraid to actually try and use the motion sensing controls) to get some stuff in.

They should just make 1 console, albeit it'd be expensive.
