Holy...!@#$%. Seriously, has anyone else seen this film? Now, it's been a long long time since any film ever brought me that close to tears...the ending is just so sad...I didn't cry though (Haven't cried at a film since I was five...the film was Forrest Gump), but it brings you close.
The basic idea is that of a soldier in WW1 whose lost his arms, legs, eyes, ears and jaw in the war, and as a result cannot communicate with the doctors who believe him brain-dead, a prisoner in his own body.
Seriously, has anyone else here seen the film? If not, watch it. If you have, opinions? I know some people feel cheated by the ending, but I personally think it's perfect...anything else would have felt like a mindless attempt to please the masses.
