No, I'm afraid it'll be too family friendly. Maybe a tennis minigame with Quote and Curly. :'(

LOL if you're such a cheapskate, then just download the wad file of Cavestory when it gets released. And get the Homebrew Channel and the Wad installer, and you will have it for free!

The game is free, what you're paying for is basically the ability to play it on your Wii.
And some extra stuff, I guess.

Just play it on PC, I doubt the exclusive content will be good enough to buy it when you can get it for free, legally even.

in some interview he said he would never want to make profit off of cave story... still i'm getting it, free or not.

In that form, Moldrill. We're getting exclusive stuff, an official english translation, the ability to play it on our Wii, and whatever various things Pixel has planned.
EDIT: Not to mention the cost of Wii dev kit, license, maybe a fee to put it on Wiiware and any assistant programmers.

Balls, I just saw some videos of it, and the sound and music is horrible. It's like 8-bit static and Windows MIDI, sped up to ruin the original feeling of the game.

Graphics and gameplay seem faithful, it would be hard to screw them up. I'd still like to see an optional graphics upgrade that was going to be done for the vaporware PSP port. Even if it's just the exact same style with higher res.

Ooh, it looks good, but it doesn't sound good. I really do hope they're still porting the audio, since it's a custom-made audio format that Pixel made. Quote looks more like his concept art now, but it looks really nice. :D
